Terri Hall
Career
A former ballet dancer trained at the Harkness Ballet who performed with American Ballet Theatre, the Monte Carlo City Ballet and the Stuttgart Ballet, Hall moved into hardcore film in 1974 and worked steadily with the era’s most significant directors — Gerard Damiano, Radley Metzger (billed as Henry Paris) and Bill Osco — through to 1984, the year the Golden Age is conventionally dated to have ended. Outside adult film she worked as an artist’s model for photographer Robert Mapplethorpe and appeared in Playboy. She died of cancer in her hometown of Elmira in 2007.
Signature: Her active years run almost exactly to the Golden Age’s own conventional boundaries, 1974 to 1984, worked entirely with the era’s defining directors rather than any single studio.
