Pornstar Ranked

The Best Gangbang Pornstars, Ranked

This category carries two genuinely distinct documented histories, and this page keeps them separate rather than blurring them together. The first is a competitive one: AVN and XRCO both run named "Gangbang Sex Scene" or "Group Sex Scene" categories, and every performer below except two holds a checked win or nomination in one of them, individually confirmed against that performer's own sourced record rather than assumed from a studio tag.

The second is a specific cultural and publicity history: the "world's biggest gangbang" stunt productions of the 1990s, whose two central figures, Annabel Chong and Houston, are ranked here on that documented production alone, because no competitive award attaches to either of them and this page states that directly rather than inventing one.

The short answer

Kimberly Kane ranks first among gangbang pornstars on our index. Her 2006 AVN Best Group Sex Scene win sits inside an eleven-award record spanning AVN, XBIZ, XRCO and NightMoves — including AVN Best Actress in 2010 and Hall of Fame induction in 2016 — built alongside a directing career for Vivid Entertainment's Vivid-Alt label and a hosting role on Viceland's Sex+Food. Jenna Haze ranks second, on the strength of the only career-long sweep of Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO simultaneously, and Houston, the documented record-holder for the largest gangbang scene ever filmed, The Houston 620 (1999), ranks third.

The ranking

Sixteen performers on a documented group-scene award or a world-record production

A named AVN or XRCO "Gangbang" or "Group Sex Scene" competitive win or nomination is the inclusion filter for most of this roster, individually checked against each performer's own record — with two historical exceptions, Annabel Chong and Houston, ranked instead on an independently documented world-record-scale production. The order runs on this programme's standard verified-record index: awards, body of work, demand, craft, longevity and influence, re-weighted below because this category spans a 1985 XRCO win to a 2026 AVN one.

Why Kimberly ranks 1st

Kane's AVN Best Group Sex Scene win in 2006 arrived the same year she directed her first feature, Naked and Famous, for Pulse Pictures — the start of a directing career that went on to produce Triple Ecstasy, Morphine and Live In My Secrets for Vivid Entertainment's Vivid-Alt label using Super 8mm film and mixed media.

She served as Treasurer of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, co-wrote its educational video Porn 101, and in 2015 hosted her own strand, Sex+Food, on Viceland/Munchies — a mainstream cable role built around her as host rather than guest. The AVN Hall of Fame inducted her in 2016.

The case against: Her real name, birth date and birthplace are not documented anywhere in the sourcing available for this record, and the exact year she began performing on camera, as distinct from her 2006 directing debut, is unclear.

Career

Kimberly Kane directed her first feature, Naked and Famous, for Pulse Pictures in 2006, then went on to direct Triple Ecstasy, Morphine and Live In My Secrets for Vivid Entertainment’s Vivid-Alt label, working with Super 8mm film and mixed media rather than standard video. She served as Treasurer of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee and co-wrote its educational video Porn 101. Her photography ran twice in Vice Magazine, including the 2012 "Girls of Hollywood" portrait series, and she was featured the same year in Maxim and The Escapist. In 2015 she hosted Sex+Food on Viceland/Munchies, a mainstream cable food-and-culture strand built around her as the on-camera host rather than a guest.

Signature: Hosted her own strand on a mainstream cable network — Viceland’s Sex+Food — rather than appearing as a guest on someone else’s show.

Why Jenna ranks 2nd

Haze's AVN Best Group Sex Scene win for Video, in 2007, arrived two years before she became the only performer in AVN's history to hold Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO in the same year, 2009 — a three-body sweep no other performer on this list, or documented anywhere in this programme's research, has matched.

She spent her first three years working exclusively with women under contract to Jill Kelly Productions before returning to mixed-gender scenes in 2006, launched her own label, Jennaration X Studios, in 2009, and retired from performing in February 2012.

The case against: Her physical statistics are sourced to Wikidata only, without independent cross-checking, and no documented aggregate credit count has been published for her eleven-year career.

Career

Haze entered the industry in July 2001 at nineteen, working exclusively with women for three years under contract to Jill Kelly Productions out of loyalty to a boyfriend who worked as an industry cameraman. She returned to mixed-gender scenes in 2006 with Jenna Haze Darkside, produced by her new partner Jules Jordan, and spent the rest of the decade collecting scene-specific wins before 2009, when she became the only performer ever to hold Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO simultaneously. She launched her own label, Jennaration X Studios, that same year and retired from performing in February 2012.

Signature: The only performer on this list — and one of only two in AVN’s history, after a performer credited only as Missy — to win Best New Starlet and Female Performer of the Year over the course of a career, and 2009 remains the sole year any performer has swept Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO at once.

Why Houston ranks 3rd

Houston is the reason this page has a history section at all: on 6 February 1999 she filmed a single scene documented as 620 sexual encounters over eight hours, released as The World's Biggest Gangbang 3: The Houston 620, still cited as the largest such record in this category.

She took a decade away from performing before returning for a 2012 comeback scene with Brazzers, and both AVN and XRCO inducted her into their Halls of Fame, in 2004 and 2015 respectively — institutional recognition that arrived independently of, and years after, the record itself.

The case against: No documented total credit count exists for her wider career, her hair and eye colour are sourced from Wikidata rather than her own Wikipedia article text, and her exact debut year is approximated rather than dated precisely.

Career

Born Kimberly Halsey, Houston is best known for a single, extreme production: on 6 February 1999 she filmed a scene documented as 620 sexual encounters over eight hours, still cited as the largest such record in the category. She took a decade away from the industry before returning for a 2012 comeback scene with Brazzers, and holds both the AVN and XRCO Hall of Fame inductions.

Signature: Holds the documented record for the largest gangbang scene ever filmed in the category, and came back a decade later to a contract-studio comeback rather than fading out.

Why Monique ranks 4th

Alexander's AVN Best Group Sex Scene win in 2008, for Sex & Violins alongside Faith Leon and Stefani Morgan, sits inside a career that was still winning AVN awards nearly a quarter-century after her 2001 debut — a 2025 Best Foursome/Orgy Scene win extends her group-category record to two separate decades.

The AVN Hall of Fame inducted her in 2017, roughly midway through a Vivid Entertainment contract run from 2004 to 2009 that also produced a Best Couples Sex Scene win in 2009.

The case against: Her exact birth date is not reliably published — English Wikipedia hedges between 1981 and 1982 with no citation for either year — and this record does not repeat an unsourced orientation classification some sources apply to her.

Why Casey ranks 5th

Calvert's AVN Best Group Sex Scene win in 2017 sits at roughly the midpoint of a career that moved decisively behind the camera: she directed 65 episodes of Girlsway Originals and 37 episodes of Mommy's Girl across 2019–2020 alone, took XBIZ's Director of the Year — Feature in 2023, and won AVN Best Leading Actress as recently as 2025.

A University of Florida telecommunications graduate, she has also written for The Huffington Post and Cosmopolitan, giving her a documented range across performing, directing and journalism that few names on this list can match.

The case against: Her real name and birth date are not published anywhere in the sourcing available for this record, and no aggregate credit count exists for her performing career specifically, separate from her directing output.

Why Audrey ranks 6th

Hollander is the only performer on this list whose Best Group Sex Scene win — AVN, Video category, 2006 — arrived in the exact same year she took the industry's top annual title, Female Performer of the Year.

That sits inside six further competitive wins across AVN, XRCO and the Venus Awards between 2005 and 2008, including a Best Anal Sex Scene win the same year, and an AVN Hall of Fame induction in 2024 recognising the full body of work rather than a single peak year — she is also ranked on our anal pornstars page on a separate credential.

The case against: Her hair colour and exact birthplace both rest on Wikidata rather than her own Wikipedia article text, and no reliable aggregate credit-count figure has been published for her career.

Career

Born Victoria Ramirez in Los Angeles to a family of Mexican descent, Vicki Chase debuted in 2009 and has built one of the most sustained competitive records in this field: four separate AVN scene wins across nine years — Best Oral Sex Scene in 2015, Best Group Sex Scene in both 2019 and 2023, and Best Blowbang Sex Scene in 2024 — against a documented filmography of roughly 770 credits. She is also credited with two further XRCO wins, in 2013 and 2019, though the specific XRCO category is not named in the sourcing available for this record and is not counted in her scored award total as a result.

Why Olivia ranks 8th

Del Rio drew two separate AVN Best Group Sex Scene nominations, in 2003 and 2005, inside a fifteen-year, roughly 250-title career built almost entirely for American and French productions rather than the domestic Brazilian market — a distinction this page states plainly.

She also drew a 2004 Female Performer of the Year nomination without a competitive win that year, and the AVN Hall of Fame inducted her in January 2025, sixteen years after her 2009 retirement, recognising a body of work built at a genuine remove from Brazil's own industry.

The case against: Neither of her Best Group Sex Scene credits converted into a competitive win, and no English-language Wikipedia biography exists for her — this record rests on the Portuguese Wikipedia article for its narrative detail.

Career

Born Olivia Neves de Oliveira in Rio Casca, Minas Gerais, Del Rio began her career in Paris working for director Patrice Cabanel before debuting on film in 1994 at twenty-five, going on to make roughly 250 titles for mostly American and French productions over fifteen years. She drew four AVN nominations in 2003–2005, including Female Performer of the Year in 2004, without a competitive win, and appeared in two episodes of the Swedish television programme Hi Chaparall in 2003. She retired from performing around 2009, later worked as a luxury escort until 2011, then left the industry; in January 2025 the AVN Awards inducted her into its Hall of Fame at the 42nd ceremony.

Signature: A Hall of Fame induction that arrived sixteen years after retirement, on the strength of a body of work built almost entirely for American and French studios rather than the domestic Brazilian market.

Why Jennifer ranks 9th

White holds this list's only literally named "Best Gangbang Sex Scene" AVN win, taken in 2026 inside the same season she became the only performer confirmed to hold Female Performer of the Year from all three major American bodies — AVN, XRCO and XMA — for the same season, each independently checked against that body's own record.

That single win sits alongside a Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene and a Best Double-Penetration Sex Scene win the same year, giving her the most category-specific evidence of any name on this page rather than the broader "Group Sex Scene" credential most other entries here carry.

The case against: She has no dedicated English Wikipedia biography, her total credit count is undocumented, and even her exact height carries a disputed range across sources.

White, born Carly Anne Friedman, debuted in 2009 and had, by any measure, the defining season of 2025: she is the only performer confirmed to hold Female Performer of the Year from all three major bodies — AVN, XRCO and XMA (the renamed XBIZ Awards) — for the same season, each confirmed independently against that body's own record. AVN alone credited her with eleven nominations at the 43rd ceremony, converting three into competitive scene wins alongside the top title itself.

Signature: A three-body Female Performer of the Year sweep for 2025 work — AVN, XRCO and XMA all agreeing in the same season — which no other performer verified for this list matches.

Why Missy ranks 10th

Martinez's sole confirmed competitive win, AVN Best Group Sex Scene for Cherry 2 in 2012, anchors a filmography that ran roughly thirteen years and past 480 credits — one of the longer sustained runs documented on this list from a single award.

Of Mexican, German, Greek and Hopi Native American descent, she entered the industry in 2009 after attending an adult-industry convention while at university, introduced to the business by fellow performer Shy Love, and later became a contributing writer for Hustler magazine.

The case against: She has no English-language Wikipedia biography, her sole award win is not accompanied by any further competitive title across a thirteen-year career, and her professional status after 2022 is not confirmed by any source checked.

Career

Born in Los Angeles to a family with primarily Mexican, German, Greek and Hopi Native American ancestry, Missy Martinez entered the industry in 2009 after attending an adult-industry convention while at university, introduced to the business by fellow performer Shy Love. Her sole confirmed competitive win came at the 2012 AVN Awards, Best Group Sex Scene for Cherry 2 alongside Zoey Holloway, Diamond Foxxx and Brooklyn Lee, and she drew further AVN and XBIZ nominations between 2013 and 2017. She has written for Hustler magazine and built a career spanning roughly 480 credits through 2022.

Why Chasey ranks 11th

Lain's XRCO Best Group Sex Scene win in 1996 comes from one of the most commercially prominent Vivid Entertainment contract careers of the mid-to-late 1990s box-cover era, confirmed here via German Wikipedia and Wikidata because her own English Wikipedia article no longer exists as a biography — the page at that title now covers "The Ballad of Chasey Lain," a Bloodhound Gang song written about her, a direct instance of the WP:PORNBIO deletions this programme has documented elsewhere. The AVN Hall of Fame's own published member list independently confirms her 2003 induction.

The case against: Her 1996 XRCO win is sourced to Wikidata only, without independent cross-checking against an XRCO ceremony page, and her birthplace is disputed between two conflicting sources.

Lain was one of the most commercially prominent Vivid Entertainment contract stars of the mid-to-late 1990s box-cover era. Her own English Wikipedia article no longer exists as a biography: the page at that title now covers "The Ballad of Chasey Lain," a Bloodhound Gang song written about her, rather than her career — a direct instance of the WP:PORNBIO deletions this programme has documented elsewhere. This record is rebuilt from German Wikipedia, Wikidata, and the AVN Hall of Fame’s own published member list, which confirms her 2003 induction. She had a small role in Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Orgazmo (1997) and appeared on The Howard Stern Show in 1999.

Doshi took Best New Starlet from three separate bodies in a single season, 2023 — one of the broadest newcomer consensus results documented in this field — and the same season produced her AVN Best Group Sex Scene win, giving her a dated, specific group-category credential rather than a general newcomer title alone.

Why Annabel ranks 13th

Chong is the originating case of the stunt format this page's history covers: her January 1995 filmed encounter, promoted as "The World's Biggest Gang Bang," predates every other record-scale production on this list and is still discussed as a documented cultural moment rather than a forgotten one-off, largely because she gave interviews about it for decades rather than disappearing afterward.

The 1999 documentary Sex: The Annabel Chong Story followed her on her own terms, including the personal cost of the attention, and she retired from the industry in 2003 to build a second career in software engineering.

The case against: She holds no competitive industry award of any kind, her exact birth date is undocumented beyond a birth year, and no reliable consolidated credit list exists for her wider filmography beyond the handful of well-documented titles her record rests on.

Born Grace Quek to a middle-class Protestant Chinese Singaporean family, she studied at Raffles Girls’ School and Hwa Chong Junior College before a scholarship to study law at King’s College London, which she left. She enrolled at the University of Southern California and entered adult film in 1994, becoming widely known in January 1995 for a single filmed encounter promoted as the "World’s Biggest Gang Bang". The 1999 documentary Sex: The Annabel Chong Story followed her on her own terms, including the personal cost of the attention. She retired from the industry in 2003, took an associate degree in software engineering in 2001, and has worked in web development since. As of 2025 she has said she plans to return to Singapore to care for her mother.

Signature: She is the reason a "biggest ever" stunt film is still discussed as a documented cultural moment rather than a forgotten one-off, largely because she gave interviews about it for decades rather than disappearing after it.

Why Luna ranks 15th

Star shared the AVN Award for Best Group Sex Scene in January 2025 as part of a roughly twenty-performer ensemble cast — a large-scale industry production genuinely different in kind from a two- or three-hander, which this page states plainly since ensemble credits carry differently than a solo or featured win.

That sits alongside Berlin's Venus Award naming her Best International Pornstar in 2024, giving her a rare combination on this list of American ensemble recognition and independently juried international recognition in successive years.

The case against: No standalone English Wikipedia biography exists for her, her studio affiliations and credit count are undocumented, and her birth date and birthplace rest on weaker sourcing than her independently confirmed award wins.

A named award category, or a documented world-record production

This page answers a specific, checkable question in two parts. For fourteen of the sixteen names below, it ranks performers who hold a documented win or nomination in a named AVN or XRCO "Gangbang" or "Group Sex Scene" competitive category — a test that is checkable against each body's own published record, the same discipline this site's anal pornstars ranking applies to a different specific act. It does not rank performers by how often this category of content appears in their filmography, which no reliable source publishes a count of.

For the remaining two — Annabel Chong and Houston — this page uses a different, explicitly disclosed basis: an independently documented, culturally significant production built specifically around a world-record claim, rather than a competitive award. Both hold zero confirmed competitive wins of any kind, and this page states that plainly. Their inclusion rests instead on a single, well-sourced production each — Chong's January 1995 "World's Biggest Gang Bang" and Houston's 1999 "Houston 620" — that this programme's research found independently documented across multiple reliable sources, including, in Chong's case, a feature documentary built around the production's aftermath.

AVN and XRCO do not use identical category names across every ceremony year: some years the category is titled "Best Group Sex Scene," in others a specific "Gangbang" or "Airtight/Gangbang Scene" title is used, and this page treats both as satisfying the same inclusion test, consistent with how the anal pornstars page treats four different category names from four different bodies as one inclusion standard. The exact category name, body and year is kept attached to every individual claim rather than collapsed into one generic "gangbang award."

TermWhat it meansHow it differs
Best Group Sex Scene (AVN/XRCO)The most common category name found in this page's research, awarded most years to a mixed-gender ensemble scene and checked here against each performer's individually named credit within it.Distinct from AVN's separate "Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene" category, which this page does not use as an inclusion basis on its own.
Best Gangbang Sex Scene (AVN)A more specifically named category used in some ceremony years, including Jennifer White's 2026 win — the single strongest, most literally on-topic credential on this page. The rarer of the two AVN category namings found in this page's research; most entries here instead hold the broader "Group Sex Scene" title.
A documented world-record-scale productionA single, independently sourced production built specifically around a world-record claim for this category, as with Annabel Chong (1995) and Houston (1999).Not a competitive award of any kind — this page discloses that directly rather than treating the production itself as equivalent to a juried win.

From a 1985 XRCO win to two competing world-record productions, to a 2026 AVN sweep

1985–1996

A competitive category exists well before the stunt era

Pipi Anderson's XRCO Best Group Sex Scene win for Stud Hunters in 1985 — confirmed directly against the XRCO's own published winners list — is the earliest verified credential on this list, from a nine-film career between 1980 and 1984. Chasey Lain's XRCO win in 1996 and Erika Bella's shared AVN win the same year, for World Sex Tour, Vol. 1, both belong to the mid-to-late-1990s Vivid Entertainment and Private Media Group box-cover era, well before the specific world-record productions this page's history also covers.

1995–1999

Two competing world-record productions define the category's public profile

Annabel Chong's January 1995 filmed encounter, promoted as "The World's Biggest Gang Bang," became the defining publicity event of this category's 1990s history, followed by the 1999 documentary Sex: The Annabel Chong Story, which covered the personal cost of the attention directly. Houston's own record-scale production, filmed on 6 February 1999 and released as The World's Biggest Gangbang 3: The Houston 620, documented 620 sexual encounters over eight hours and is still cited as the largest such record in this category — a claim that has stood for over two decades.

2000s–2010s

Institutional recognition catches up with both record-holders

Houston took a decade away from performing before returning for a 2012 Brazzers comeback scene, and both AVN and XRCO inducted her into their Halls of Fame, in 2004 and 2015 respectively — recognition that arrived independently of, and years after, the record-setting production itself. In the same stretch, competitive-category wins for Audrey Hollander (2006, the same year as her Female Performer of the Year title), Kimberly Kane (2006) and Monique Alexander (2008, then again in 2025) documented the category's ordinary competitive side continuing alongside the stunt-era legacy.

2017–2026

Repeated wins, ensemble casts and a literally named category return

Vicki Chase became the only performer on this list to win Best Group Sex Scene at AVN twice, in 2019 and 2023, and Luna Star shared a 2025 AVN win as part of a roughly twenty-performer ensemble cast — a scale of production genuinely different from the two- or three-hander most other wins on this list represent. Jennifer White's 2026 AVN win for a literally named "Best Gangbang Sex Scene" category, inside the same season she swept Female Performer of the Year at three bodies, closes this page's documented history to date.

Editorial process

Male performers with the same category record, deliberately unranked here

The same research that produced this roster also surfaced seven male performers with genuine, documented "Gangbang"-category AVN wins. They are not ranked on this page, and that is a consistency decision about this programme's existing "-pornstars" convention, not a judgement about their records — the identical basis anal-pornstars used for its own three male exclusions.

Documented Gangbang-category AVN awards, not ranked on this page

EJ
Eddie Jaye

Holds a documented 2024 AVN Best Gangbang Scene win for Angela White: Unbound Part 4, plus a 2026 Best Gangbang Scene nomination. Not ranked here on the same female-performer convention basis as every other exclusion in this section.

HC
Hollywood Cash

Holds documented AVN Best Gangbang Sex Scene wins in both 2025 and 2026. Excluded on the same convention basis as the other names in this section, not on any deficiency in his record.

Isiah Maxwell
Isiah Maxwell

Holds a documented 2022 AVN Best Gangbang Sex Scene win and a 2023 AVN Best Group Sex Scene win. Excluded on the same convention basis.

MP
Milan Ponjevic

Holds a documented 2026 AVN Best Airtight/Gangbang Scene win. Excluded on the same convention basis.

Mr. Pete
Mr. Pete

Holds a documented 2015 AVN Best Group Sex Scene win for Gangbang Me. Excluded on the same convention basis.

SC
Stirling Cooper

Holds a documented 2020 AVN Best Gangbang Sex Scene nomination. Excluded on the same convention basis.

VK
Vince Karter

Holds a documented 2024 AVN Best Gangbang Sex Scene win. Excluded on the same convention basis.

Removed before publication to control overlap

Puma Swede

Holds a documented AVN Best Group Sex Scene nomination from 2012 and genuinely clears this page's inclusion test. Cut from an earlier seventeen-name draft specifically because her existing performer record is also reused on the published pornstars-2000s page, alongside three other names — Audrey Hollander, Jenna Haze and Monique Alexander — already shared with that page; keeping all four would have pushed this page's overlap with pornstars-2000s to 23.5%, over this programme's 20% cap. Swede was removed rather than one of the other three because her Group Sex Scene credit is a nomination rather than a win, the weakest of the four shared credentials. Not a judgement about her wider record, which includes a genuinely unusual mainstream-crossover career.

Background

A competitive award record, and the publicity-stunt history that sits alongside it

This category carries two documented histories worth keeping separate: an ordinary, checkable competitive-award record spanning four decades, and a specific 1990s publicity-stunt tradition whose two central figures later spoke publicly, and very differently, about what the attention cost them.

Two competing "world record" productions, four years apart

Annabel Chong's 1995 production and Houston's 1999 one both explicitly marketed themselves around a world-record claim for this category, and both remain independently documented — Chong's through a feature documentary built around her own account, Houston's through a record that has stood, uncontested in this page's research, for over two decades.

What the record-holders said afterward became part of the documented story

Chong gave interviews about the production and its personal cost for decades rather than disappearing afterward, culminating in the 1999 documentary Sex: The Annabel Chong Story; she retired from adult film in 2003 and built a second career in software engineering. This page treats that documented aftermath as part of the historical record, not as commentary of its own.

The ordinary competitive category has run for over four decades

Separately from the stunt-production history, AVN and XRCO's named "Group Sex Scene" and "Gangbang Sex Scene" categories have run continuously enough to produce a verified winner in nine of the ten decades this page's roster spans, from Pipi Anderson's 1985 XRCO win to Jennifer White's 2026 AVN one — a competitive record entirely independent of the publicity-stunt tradition.

A convention this programme applies consistently: female performers only, disclosed rather than hidden

Seven male performers with genuine, documented "Gangbang"-category AVN wins — Eddie Jaye, Hollywood Cash, Isiah Maxwell, Milan Ponjevic, Mr. Pete, Stirling Cooper and Vince Karter — were identified during this page's research using the identical search method the anal pornstars page used for its own male-performer exclusions, and are named directly in the corrections section rather than silently dropped.

Ensemble-scale productions are scored differently from a two- or three-hander

Luna Star's shared 2025 AVN win, credited to a roughly twenty-performer ensemble cast, is genuinely different in kind from a featured two- or three-performer scene win, and this page states that distinction directly on her entry rather than treating every "Group Sex Scene" credit as equivalent regardless of cast size.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best gangbang pornstar?

Kimberly Kane ranks first on our index. Her 2006 AVN Best Group Sex Scene win sits inside an eleven-award record spanning AVN, XBIZ, XRCO and NightMoves, including AVN Best Actress in 2010 and Hall of Fame induction in 2016.

Who holds the record for the largest gangbang scene ever filmed?

Houston, for a scene documented as 620 sexual encounters over eight hours, filmed on 6 February 1999 and released as The World's Biggest Gangbang 3: The Houston 620 — still cited as the largest such record in this category over two decades later.

Who started the "world's biggest gangbang" trend?

Annabel Chong, whose January 1995 production, promoted as "The World's Biggest Gang Bang," predates every other record-scale production in this category. The 1999 documentary Sex: The Annabel Chong Story covered the production's personal aftermath directly.

What makes a performer qualify for this list?

A documented win or nomination in a named AVN or XRCO "Gangbang" or "Group Sex Scene" competitive category, checked individually against that performer's own sourced record — or, for Annabel Chong and Houston specifically, an independently documented world-record-scale production in place of a competitive award, disclosed directly.

Why aren't any male performers ranked on this page?

Seven male performers with genuine, documented "Gangbang"-category AVN wins — Eddie Jaye, Hollywood Cash, Isiah Maxwell, Milan Ponjevic, Mr. Pete, Stirling Cooper and Vince Karter — were identified during the same research. They are named in the corrections section rather than ranked, for consistency with the female-performer convention every other "-pornstars" page in this programme follows, the same basis our anal pornstars page used for its own exclusions.

Is a Group Sex Scene win the same as a Gangbang Sex Scene win?

This page treats both as satisfying the same inclusion test, since AVN and XRCO have used both category names across different ceremony years for functionally the same kind of scene. The exact category name, body and year is kept attached to every individual claim on this page rather than collapsed into one generic label.

Does this page describe any scene content?

No. Every entry is scored and described on award and production history alone — a category won, a record set, a documentary made. Nothing on this page describes what happens in any specific scene.

Why is Vicki Chase's entry different from most others on this list?

She is the only performer here who won Best Group Sex Scene at AVN twice, in 2019 and 2023, inside a four-win run spanning nine years — the deepest sustained competitive record in this specific category documented on this page.

Are Audrey Hollander and Nicole Doshi ranked anywhere else on this site?

Yes. Both are also ranked on our anal pornstars page, each on a separately documented anal-specific credential. That is a shared-entity reuse of their existing performer records, not roster padding — the inclusion criterion and the argument are different on each page.

How often is this list updated?

A full re-audit every six months, plus an award-pillar update within fourteen days of each major ceremony. Every change is logged with a date and a reason at the foot of this page.

Methodology · The Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v3.0

How we ranked these performers

A 100-point composite built from six weighted pillars. Four are calculated directly from the performer records - award archives, credit counts, studio breadth and career timelines - by a script, so the same data always produces the same ranking. Two rest partly on editorial judgement, and where an individual score has been set by hand rather than computed, the profile says so and gives the reason. Everything here is auditable against the sources listed on each profile.

Scores are normalised within each article's own field rather than against an absolute ideal. That matters because award ecosystems are not comparable: a Japanese performer is scored against FANZA, AV Open and Sky PerfecTV results, an American one against AVN, XBIZ and XRCO. Ranking them on one absolute scale would be meaningless. A 74 is not a bad score - it is a placement inside a field of people who are already exceptional.

⚖︎

Weights for this category. Demand falls to 10% from our 20% default because this roster spans a 1985 XRCO win (Pipi Anderson) to a 2026 AVN one (Jennifer White), and several of its strongest entries — Anderson, Chasey Lain, Erika Bella, Annabel Chong, Houston — built their entire documented record before the modern platform-search era this pillar measures, making it a poor proxy for a genuinely historical category. Longevity and Influence both rise accordingly, to credit a roster where multi-decade recognition (Monique Alexander winning an AVN award nineteen years after Vicki Chase's and twenty-four years after her own debut) and outsized cultural footprint (Annabel Chong and Houston, whose inclusion rests on a single documented production rather than a competitive award at all) are the real signal. Recognition holds close to default because the inclusion test itself is still, for most of this roster, a named competitive category.

That combination produced a roster spanning more than four decades: Pipi Anderson's 1985 XRCO win for Stud Hunters is the earliest verified credential here, and Jennifer White's 2026 AVN win for a season that also swept her Female Performer of the Year at three bodies is the most recent. In between sit performers whose group-scene win arrived alongside a top annual title in the same year (Audrey Hollander, Jenna Haze), and a performer with the deepest sustained run of repeated wins in this specific category (Vicki Chase, twice).

Per this programme's established convention — set out directly in the anal pornstars page, which faced the identical question — male performers with a genuine, documented "Gangbang"-category AVN award are not ranked here, for consistency with every other "-pornstars" page in this programme rather than any judgement about their records. Seven such performers were found during this page's research and are named directly in the corrections section below rather than silently dropped.

⚠︎

Before you publish this page: Fourteen of the sixteen performers on this page hold a documented win or nomination in a named AVN or XRCO "Gangbang" or "Group Sex Scene" competitive category, individually checked against that performer's existing sourced record. The remaining two, Annabel Chong and Houston, hold zero confirmed competitive wins of any kind and are ranked instead on an independently documented world-record-scale production — Chong's 1995 "World's Biggest Gang Bang" and Houston's 1999 "Houston 620" — disclosed directly rather than treated as equivalent to a juried award. Seven male performers with genuine, documented "Gangbang"-category AVN wins (Eddie Jaye, Hollywood Cash, Isiah Maxwell, Milan Ponjevic, Mr. Pete, Stirling Cooper, Vince Karter) were found in the same search and deliberately excluded for consistency with this programme's female-performer convention on comparable pages, not on any deficiency in their records. Audrey Hollander and Nicole Doshi are also ranked on the published anal-pornstars page, each on a separately documented anal-specific credential — a shared-entity reuse disclosed here rather than hidden. A seventeenth performer, Puma Swede, genuinely holds an AVN Best Group Sex Scene nomination and was removed from an earlier draft specifically to keep this page's overlap with the published pornstars-2000s roster under the 20% cap, confirmed directly by node scripts/audit-overlap.mjs — not on any deficiency in her record. No new performer record was created for this article; all sixteen reuse existing canonical records already published in other batches, and content/seed/group.mjs is intentionally empty as a result. Verify anything marked medium or low confidence on an individual profile before republishing it elsewhere.

Industry Recognition
25%
Computed from records

Awards, nominations and Hall of Fame status.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from the award arrays on each performer record. A Hall of Fame induction is the heaviest single signal, then a Performer of the Year win, then a category win, then any other competitive win, then a nomination at roughly a quarter weight. Lifetime Achievement honours are scored as ordinary wins rather than as Performer of the Year, because Hall of Fame induction already captures career recognition and double-counting it visibly distorted an earlier edition of our all-time list.

Awards are the only independently-audited quality signal this industry produces. They are voted by peers and press, their archives are public, and they are the one input a reader can check without taking our word for anything.

Body of Work
18%
Computed from records

Credit volume, studio breadth and niche-defining titles.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented credit count and the number of distinct studios a performer has worked with. Volume is capped logarithmically so that breadth outweighs raw output: a performer with 200 credits across fourteen studios scores above one with 900 for a single network, because fourteen independent buyers agreeing is a stronger signal than one buyer repeating.

This is the pillar that separates a long, in-demand career from a brief, high-visibility moment. Studio breadth is the anti-gaming control: any one studio can push any one performer, but fourteen of them agreeing is signal.

Audience Demand
10%
Blind-scored panel

Branded search interest where we have data; an editorial estimate where we do not.

How it is scored

This is the weakest pillar in the model and we would rather say so than dress it up. Where a performer's own name draws measurable search interest, that measurement is used directly. At present that covers a minority of the performers we have scored. For everyone else the score is seeded from the performer's own computed profile and adjusted editorially, and every seeded value is flagged for review before publication. Any profile whose Demand figure was set by hand rather than measured carries a disclosure saying so.

A best-of list that ignores what audiences actually watch is a critics' list pretending to be a popularity list. We measure demand separately so you can see when a performer is decorated but niche, or hugely popular and under-awarded - but we will not claim precision we do not have.

Craft & Screen Presence
17%
Blind-scored panel

Performance quality, range and screen presence. An editorial judgement.

How it is scored

There is no computable proxy for this in any public record, so it is a judgement made by the editorial desk against the acting-category award record, directorial praise on the record, and the range of production types a performer is cast in. It carries a deliberately capped weight for exactly that reason, and it is shown as its own line on every profile rather than folded invisibly into a total.

We would rather show you a bounded 15% judgement call, labelled as one, than launder taste through a number engineered to look objective.

Longevity & Consistency
18%
Computed from records

Years active, output consistency and successful career restarts.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented debut year to the most recent verified release, adjusted for gaps. A performer who left and returned to award-level work scores above one with the same raw year count and no interruption, because a successful restart is harder than continuity. Retired performers are measured to their documented end date, not to today.

This category rewards sustained careers by definition — the performers who define it have usually been working for fifteen years or more. Longevity is the pillar that makes that explicit rather than smuggling it in.

Influence & Crossover
12%
Blind-scored panel

Mainstream reach, business ownership, directing and advocacy.

How it is scored

Seeded by script from counts of documented mainstream credits and business ventures, then reviewed. That proxy works reasonably for modern careers and fails badly for historical ones, so for performers who worked before the award and media record our model reads, the figure is set by hand. Every such case is disclosed on the profile.

Some performers changed what the job is, not just how well it is done. Nina Hartley's sex-education work and Lisa Ann's crossover into sports broadcasting are career facts that a ranking which only counts scenes would completely miss.

The six-step process

1

Define the field

We assemble every performer with verified professional credits in the category and a checkable public record. Each article states how many names were considered and how many were cut.

2

Pull the records

For each performer we pull award-body archives, credit databases, encyclopaedia entries and verified official accounts. Anything we cannot source is recorded as unverified and left out of scoring rather than guessed. Aggregator and AI-generated biography sites are excluded outright - they recycle each other's errors, and they are the reason so much of the award data circulating for this industry is wrong.

3

Compute the record-derived pillars

Recognition, Body of Work and Longevity are calculated by script from the pulled records, normalised within that article's field. No human sets these numbers.

4

Set the judgement pillars

Craft is an editorial score. Demand uses measured audience search interest where we have it and an editorial estimate where we do not. Influence is seeded from documented crossover and business activity, then reviewed by hand.

5

Weight, rank, and sanity-check

Pillar weights are set per article and published on the page, because the question a category asks changes what should count. The desk then reviews the order for failures of common sense - most often performers whose careers predate the award record entirely.

6

Disclose every intervention

Where step 5 changes a score, the affected profile carries a note saying which pillars were altered and why. Where a pillar value is seeded rather than measured, the build reports it. We publish the corrections log rather than editing silently.

✕ Who we exclude, and why

  • Performers with credible unresolved allegations of coercion, assault or trafficking. A ranking is an endorsement of a professional record, and we will not extend one where consent is in question.
  • Anyone whose age at the time of any listed credit cannot be independently verified as 18 or over.
  • Performers who have publicly asked to be left off editorial rankings. Removal requests are honoured without argument and without requiring a reason.
  • Content, imagery or links sourced from leaks, hacks or non-consensual distribution — regardless of how widely circulated it is elsewhere.

△ Where this model is weak

  • Demand is our weakest inputWe have measured audience search interest for only a minority of the performers scored so far. The rest carry editorial estimates. This is the pillar most likely to move as our measurement of audience demand widens.
  • Award archives favour recent, American productionAVN, XBIZ and XRCO are US bodies founded in the 1980s and 1990s. Performers who worked earlier, or outside the United States, are structurally disadvantaged by the Recognition pillar. We correct for it by hand and disclose each correction, which is a fix but not a solution.
  • Craft is a judgement, and judgements varyOne informed desk scoring against the acting-award record is better than asserting an order with no reasoning, but it is still a view. It is capped at 15% and shown separately for that reason.
  • Pre-2000 credit counts are unreliableOlder releases are documented far less consistently than modern ones, which understates the output of long careers. The Longevity pillar partly offsets this; it does not fully correct it.
  • Normalisation means scores are not cross-comparableAn 88 on our Japanese ranking and an 88 on our MILF ranking are not the same achievement. Each score positions a performer within her own field, and comparing across articles is not a use these numbers support.

Corrections and update log

Factual corrections are made within 48 hours of verification and logged, dated and described at the foot of the article. Changes to the scoring model itself are logged the same way - when we found that Lifetime Achievement honours were being scored as Performer of the Year wins, we published the fix and the resulting rank changes rather than quietly re-running the build. Cadence: Full re-audit every six months; award pillars updated within 14 days of each major awards ceremony. Next full audit: 2027-02-20.

What changed in this edition

  • First edition. Sixteen performers scored on the Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v2.1, re-weighted so that Longevity and Influence outweigh Demand — see the pillar-weight note below — for a roster spanning a 1985 XRCO win to a 2026 AVN one.
  • No new performer record created. All sixteen names reuse existing canonical records already defined in other batches; content/seed/group.mjs is intentionally empty, and its header comment names every source batch.
  • Seven male performers with genuine, documented "Gangbang"-category AVN wins — Eddie Jaye, Hollywood Cash, Isiah Maxwell, Milan Ponjevic, Mr. Pete, Stirling Cooper and Vince Karter — were found during this page's research and deliberately left unranked here, for consistency with this programme's female-performer convention on "-pornstars" pages. Named in the corrections section rather than silently dropped.
  • A seventeenth name, Puma Swede — a genuine AVN Best Group Sex Scene nominee — was cut from an earlier draft to control roster overlap against the published pornstars-2000s page. Named in the corrections section rather than silently dropped.
  • Two performers, Annabel Chong and Houston, are ranked on a documented world-record-scale production rather than a competitive award — the first time this programme has ranked entries on that basis rather than an award or a professional credential.
