Kristine DeBell
Career
A former Ford Models fashion model, DeBell made her film debut at 21 in the title role of the hardcore musical Alice in Wonderland (1976) — one of the handful of titles named directly in Wikipedia’s own account of the Golden Age of Porn — and appeared on the April 1976 cover of Playboy the same year. She did not make a second hardcore film, moving instead into an entirely mainstream career: I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978), a supporting role opposite Bill Murray in Meatballs (1979), and a role alongside Jackie Chan in The Big Brawl (1980), plus a run of 1970s and early-1980s television guest spots. She returned to acting in direct-to-video work from 2012 onward.
Signature: Exactly one hardcore credit, in one of the era’s most commercially significant titles, followed by the most complete one-way crossover into ordinary studio filmmaking on this list.
