Pornstar Ranked

The Best Camgirls, Ranked

Camming is the most pseudonymous corner of the adult industry, and that fact should shape any list claiming to rank it.

The overwhelming majority of camgirls are private individuals broadcasting under a stage name, with no public record beyond a platform profile — which means most "best camgirls" content circulating today is built on scraped listing pages, not verification.

This page applies a different rule: a performer is ranked here only if she has an established public professional profile — a documented cam-specific award from AVN, XBIZ, XBIZ Europa, NightMoves or the Pornhub Awards, checked against the ceremony’s own record; named coverage in established trade or mainstream press; or a platform presence she has repeatedly and publicly claimed as hers.

Sixteen performers cleared that bar. Nobody’s real name, city, employer or age appears below unless she published it herself.

The short answer

Vicky Vette ranks first among camgirls on our index. She is the only performer verified for this list inducted into two separate Halls of Fame — NightMoves in 2012 and AVN in 2016 — built on two decades of running her own site, VickyAtHome.com, rather than a studio contract. Amouranth ranks second and Reya Sunshine ranks third.

The ranking

The 16 camgirls with a verifiable public professional profile

Camming is a pseudonymous industry by default. Every name below cleared a specific bar before it was ranked at all: a documented cam-specific award from AVN, XBIZ, XBIZ Europa, NightMoves or the Pornhub Awards, checked against the ceremony’s own page or the outlet’s own announcement; named coverage in established trade or mainstream press; or a platform presence the performer has repeatedly and publicly claimed as hers. Several profiles below are short by design — no birth date, no city, no real name — because that is the true limit of what these performers have chosen to make public, and this page will not manufacture the rest.

Why Vicky ranks 1st

Vette is the only performer verified for this list inducted into two separate Halls of Fame — NightMoves in 2012 and AVN in 2016 — and both inductions sit inside a run of cam-specific recognition rather than a single peak.

She won XBIZ’s Web Babe of the Year and Web Star of the Year in back-to-back years (2012–2013), took AVN’s Best Solo Girl Website award twice for the site she has run herself since the 2000s, and added an AVN Best Tease Performance win in 2005.

Under a rubric built around audience relationship, consistency and platform standing rather than studio credit counts, an independent operator who has kept her own site running and her own audience intact for two decades, while collecting recognition from three separate award bodies along the way, is close to the ideal case — and the reason she also ranks second on our hottest pornstars ranking. Nothing here rests on a single ceremony.

The case against: Her highest-profile wins are now more than a decade old, and this list has no way to measure whether her current audience matches the one that earned the 2012–2016 recognition.

Career

Born in Stavanger, Vicky Vette moved to Canada at five and to the United States in her mid-thirties. She debuted on camera in 2003 and built her career around VickyAtHome.com and the VNA Network, a webcam and production platform she operates rather than a studio contract, alongside film work that earned an AVN Best Tease Performance win in 2005. She was inducted into the NightMoves Hall of Fame in 2012 and the AVN Hall of Fame in 2016 — the only performer in this field with two separate Hall of Fame inductions — won XBIZ’s Web Babe of the Year and Web Star of the Year in consecutive years (2012–2013), and took AVN’s Best Solo Girl Website award twice for the site she has personally run for two decades. She also produces a licensed adult-toy line, the Vicky Quickie, through Doc Johnson.

Signature: The only performer on this list inducted into two separate Halls of Fame, for running the same independent cam and webmistress operation continuously since 2003 — exactly the audience-relationship and platform-standing record this article’s rubric is built to reward.

Why Amouranth ranks 2nd

Amouranth inverts the usual order for this list: she was already the most-watched female livestreamer on a mainstream platform, with an audience built through 2015–2021 on Twitch — the crossover the pornstar-gaming crossovers page covers — before she ever won an adult-industry award.

Her 2023 AVN Favorite Creator Site Star title followed her move into streaming on Chaturbate (2022) and as Jerkmate’s brand ambassador (2023), and she hosted the XBIZ Creator Awards that same year — real crossover standing rather than a single guest appearance.

Under a rubric weighted toward audience relationship and platform standing, a performer whose base audience was proven at Twitch’s scale before she entered the adult-camming award ecosystem at all is a distinct and legitimate case for a high placement, separate from performers whose recognition and audience both originate inside the adult-industry award system.

The case against: Most of her career and audience were built on a mainstream, non-adult platform; her adult-specific camming activity is comparatively recent and thinner than several other entries on this list.

Kaitlyn Siragusa, known professionally as Amouranth, joined Twitch in 2015 as a cosplayer and by 2021 was the platform’s most-watched female streamer, built on dancing, ASMR and adult-themed hot-tub content. She began streaming on the camming platform Chaturbate in September 2022 and on Jerkmate in May 2023, becoming that platform’s brand ambassador later that year, and won the AVN Award for Favorite Creator Site Star in 2023, the same year she hosted the XBIZ Creator Awards. Alongside performing, she has built a portfolio of unrelated businesses — a Circle K-franchised gas station, an inflatable pool-toy company, and a talent-management firm for other creators.

Signature: Was already one of the most-watched livestreamers in the world, on a mainstream platform, before she ever won an adult-industry award — the clearest case in this field of audience relationship preceding, rather than following, industry recognition.

Why Reya ranks 3rd

Sunshine’s case rests on range as much as award count: an XBIZ Clip Artist of the Year win and a ManyVids Vid of the Year title in the same year (2021), three further Clip Artist nominations either side of it, and a co-hosting slot at the 40th AVN Awards in January 2023 — she also ranks second on the fit pornstars page — a level of industry standing beyond simply being a nominee.

What sets her apart from the rest of the field is that her own 2018 YouTube explainer on camming was used as a primary source in a December 2022 peer-reviewed study comparing streaming and webcam labour, published in the journal Sexualities.

That is independent, external validation of exactly the kind this rubric rewards — evidence that her account of the work itself, not just her output, has recognised standing.

The case against: Her recognition is concentrated in the clip-selling side of the business rather than live camming specifically, and her most recent nominations (2022–2023) did not convert into wins.

A University of California, Santa Cruz psychology graduate (magna cum laude, specialising in humanistic psychology), Reya Sunshine worked as an exotic dancer for three and a half years before beginning webcam modelling on MyFreeCams on 1 January 2016. She won XBIZ Clip Artist of the Year in 2021, backed by a ManyVids Vid of the Year win the same year and three further Clip Artist nominations either side of it, and co-hosted the 40th AVN Awards in January 2023. Her 2018 YouTube video "Are You Cut Out for Camming?" was later used as one of ten primary sources in a December 2022 peer-reviewed study, "Live Play, Live Sex", published in the journal Sexualities, comparing the labour of video-game livestreaming to webcam modelling.

Why Emily ranks 4th

Bloom’s record spans two different recognition systems rather than one: a 2016 Playboy Cyber Girl of the Month credit from the legacy glamour side of the industry, followed three years later by XBIZ’s Cam Model of the Year in the Independent category — she is also ranked on the Ukrainian pornstars list.

Wikidata separately records her as working across pornographic film, erotic photography and webcam modelling, a broader professional footprint than several single-award entries on this list.

She has no English Wikipedia biography, which limits how much of her career can be independently confirmed beyond those two credits, but both are checkable against a primary source rather than a database summary alone.

The case against: Beyond the 2016 Playboy credit and the 2019 XBIZ win, there is no further competitive recognition on record, and no English-language biography exists to fill in the years between or since.

Born in Kyiv, Emily Bloom was named a Playboy Cyber Girl of the Month in 2016 before winning XBIZ’s Cam Model of the Year in the Independent category in 2019. Wikidata records her occupations as spanning pornographic film acting, erotic photography and webcam modelling. She has no English-language Wikipedia biography; her German Wikipedia entry was not used as a source here in keeping with this programme’s English-Wikipedia-first sourcing standard.

Why Jenny ranks 5th

No performer verified for this list has a wider spread of independent recognition than Blighe. Four separate bodies — NightMoves, XBIZ, AVN and the Pornhub Awards — named her a winner across a three-year span, and her 2018 season alone produced an XBIZ double (Cam Model of the Year and Live Cam Model of the Year), an AVN Favorite Indie Clip Star title and a Pornhub Cam Performer of the Year fan win, repeated in 2019.

That is a stronger recognition signal than a single body’s repeated win, because it means independent juries and an audience vote all reached the same conclusion in overlapping years.

She has no English Wikipedia biography — normal for this category since Wikipedia’s 2019 notability policy change — so her record here rests entirely on the ceremonies’ own pages rather than a database summary.

The case against: All six wins cluster inside 2017–2019; nothing in the public record confirms whether she has remained active, or at what level, in the years since.

Jenny Blighe holds the widest spread of cam-specific recognition of anyone verified for this list: six wins from four separate award bodies — NightMoves, XBIZ, AVN and the Pornhub Awards — across three consecutive years. Her 2018 season alone produced an XBIZ double (Cam Model of the Year and Live Cam Model of the Year), an AVN Favorite Indie Clip Star win and a Pornhub Cam Performer of the Year fan award, and she repeated the Pornhub win in 2019. She has no English-language Wikipedia biography, which is normal for this category after Wikipedia deprecated its adult-performer notability guideline in 2019 — her award record is independently confirmed against each ceremony’s own page rather than a database summary.

Signature: Four independent award bodies agreeing on the same performer in the same three-year window — NightMoves, XBIZ, AVN and Pornhub — is the broadest cross-body recognition of any camgirl verified for this article.

Why GoAskAlex ranks 6th

GoAskAlex’s 2021 XBIZ Cam Model of the Year win is the formal credential, but what distinguishes her within this field is a public profile she built on her own terms: coverage in Vice and a Hustler magazine feature discussing a 2019 surgery that made her a permanent ostomate, work she has described as making her the industry’s first publicly out performer with that condition, and a sex-education video produced with the platform Afterglow.

That is a case of a performer using camming-adjacent visibility to do something distinctive and self-directed with it, which is precisely the kind of platform standing this rubric is built to register beyond a trophy count.

The case against: Her real name and birth details are unpublished, and beyond the 2021 XBIZ win and the press coverage of her advocacy work, no further competitive recognition is on record.

GoAskAlex won XBIZ’s Cam Model of the Year in 2021. She has spoken publicly, including in coverage by Vice and a feature in Hustler magazine, about a 2019 surgery that made her a permanent ostomate, and describes herself as the adult industry’s first performer to be publicly open about the condition; she has since worked as a sex educator, including a video presentation on sex and disability produced with the platform Afterglow.

Why Ginger ranks 7th

Banks holds no competitive cam award, and she is ranked here on a different but equally valid inclusion route: sustained, named coverage in mainstream and trade press across six years and six separate outlets — Rolling Stone, the Daily Beast, Vice, Jezebel, BBC News and NBC.

The through-line is a June 2017 YouTube video compiling sexual-misconduct allegations against Ron Jeremy that reached well beyond the adult industry and led the Free Speech Coalition to rescind a Positive Image Award it had presented him in 2009, plus continued public campaigning on platform verification and content-removal policy.

That is a rare outcome for advocacy originating from inside camming, and it is exactly the kind of platform standing this rubric is built to register even without a trophy attached to it.

The case against: Because her prominence is advocacy-led rather than award-led, this article has comparatively little independently verified detail about her camming career itself — audience size, platform history or tenure.

Ginger Banks left chemical-engineering study at Arizona State to webcam full-time from 2010. She has no competitive industry award on record, but is one of the most extensively covered independent camgirls in mainstream press: in June 2017 she posted a YouTube video compiling sexual-misconduct allegations against Ron Jeremy, reported on by Rolling Stone and the Daily Beast, after which the Free Speech Coalition rescinded a Positive Image Award it had presented him in 2009 and he was barred from several industry events. She has since campaigned publicly — covered by Vice, Jezebel and BBC News — against SESTA/FOSTA, for Pornhub to remove content from producers accused of misconduct, and for stronger upload verification, and was targeted in a 2018 Instagram harassment campaign against adult performers reported by Jezebel and the BBC.

Signature: Her camming career is less publicly documented than the advocacy work she built from inside it — a 2017 compilation video that persuaded an industry trade body to take back an award it had already given.

That combination of an audited award and an outside outlet’s editorial interest is a reasonable basis for inclusion even without a Wikipedia biography, which she does not have.

Why Lana ranks 9th

Del Bae’s 2022 XBIZ Cam Model of the Year win is paired with something most single-award entries on this list lack: a 2024 profile in the camming trade outlet BCAMS Magazine in which she discussed camming as having taught her English and described running monthly charity-themed shows.

That gives a rare first-person account of what a multi-year camming career actually consists of, rather than only a ceremony citation, and it is the kind of consistency-of-practice detail this rubric’s emphasis on audience relationship over raw award volume is designed to surface.

The case against: Beyond the 2022 XBIZ win and the single 2024 trade-press profile, no further biographical detail is independently verifiable, and her exact debut year is inferred rather than confirmed.

Why Bunny ranks 10th

Marthy’s inclusion rests on a single but genuine credential: XBIZ Europa’s Cam Model of the Year in the Independent category for 2020, verified against the ceremony’s own citation rather than a secondary summary.

XBIZ Europa is a distinct, XBIZ-run regional ceremony with its own checkable winners record, the same standard this programme applies elsewhere to European-market performers, and her win there places her among a small number of Central and Eastern European independents with a confirmed cam-specific title.

Wikidata additionally credits her with a directing occupation, though no independently verifiable source describes the scope of that work in enough detail to state more than that here.

The case against: She has no English-language biography of any kind, the scope of her directing work is unverified, and nothing beyond the single 2020 award is independently confirmed.

Why Devious ranks 11th

Angel’s XBIZ Live Cam Model of the Year win in 2017 is backed by something rarer in this field: repeat coverage, including a cover feature, in CamLife Magazine, a trade publication dedicated specifically to the camming industry rather than adult film generally.

That is the camming equivalent of trade-press coverage this programme treats as a legitimate inclusion route elsewhere, and it gives her profile more texture than a single awards-night citation — a named studio affiliation (Studio 20), named platforms (LiveJasmin, Streamate), and her own account of how her stage name originated.

The case against: CamLife Magazine is a niche industry trade outlet rather than mainstream press, her real name and birth details are unpublished, and no award recognition beyond the 2017 XBIZ win is on record.

Why Kendra ranks 12th

Summer is ranked on the strength of a single, independently verifiable credential: XBIZ’s studio-category Cam Model of the Year for 2019, confirmed against the ceremony’s own winners table.

No further detail about her career meets this programme’s sourcing bar, and this entry does not pretend otherwise — the studio-category distinction itself is worth stating clearly, since it separates her from the independent-category winners also ranked here and reflects a different route into the same recognition.

The case against: This is a single-award record with no supporting biography, no confirmed nationality and no activity documented before or after 2019; she is ranked on the strength and verification of that one title alone.

Why Quincy ranks 13th

Quincy is ranked for a single, checkable reason: she won XBIZ’s Cam Model of the Year in 2023, confirmed against the ceremony’s own winners announcement. Various broader claims about her platform history circulate online but could not be independently verified to this programme’s standard, so they are not repeated here.

The award alone is a legitimate, auditable basis for inclusion under this article’s stated criteria, even where it stands alone.

Wildd won XBIZ’s Cam Model of the Year in 2024, the most recent edition of that specific category confirmed for any performer on this list.

She is ranked on that credential alone, in keeping with this article’s standard that a verified cam-specific award is sufficient grounds for inclusion even where no further biography is publicly available — a limitation of the public record for very recent winners, not of the underlying credential’s validity.

She also discussed her route into camming in an on-camera interview for the industry outlet Cam101.

Ranking her makes a deliberate point: this category’s award ecosystem did not freeze in the mid-2010s, and its most recent winners deserve the same verification standard, and the same place on the list, as performers with a decade more documented history.

The case against: Her win is recent enough that almost nothing else about her career is independently documented, and it remains to be seen whether the recognition converts into a longer public record.

What counts as a camgirl on this list, and why so many records are short

A "camgirl" performs live, on camera, for an audience that pays through tips or subscription access, on a platform she does not own outright even when she runs her own site alongside it. That distinguishes the category from studio-contracted film performing (a discrete, edited, pre-recorded release) and from general content-selling (a subscription feed with no live component), even though all three overlap heavily in practice — several performers on this list do all three.

The inclusion rule follows from the privacy problem this category presents. Most camgirls never seek recognition beyond their existing platform audience, and have no reason to publish a real name, location or age — nor should this page invent one. The same constraint bites hardest on our Indian cam girls page, where a directory listing is the only public trace most performers leave. So a performer is ranked here only where she has cleared one of three bars: a documented cam-specific award or nomination from AVN, XBIZ, XBIZ Europa, NightMoves or the Pornhub Awards, verified against the ceremony’s own page rather than an aggregator; named coverage in established trade press (including camming-specific trade outlets such as CamLife Magazine and BCAMS Magazine, which cover this industry the way AVN and XBIZ cover film) or mainstream press; or an official platform presence she has repeatedly and publicly acknowledged as hers.

That standard produces a roster that looks different from most "best camgirls" content: several entries here carry a single verified award and nothing else, because that is genuinely all that is publicly known about the person behind the stage name, and this page states that directly rather than padding the record with unsourced colour. It also means the roster skews toward performers recognised by XBIZ specifically, because XBIZ has run the most consistently maintained cam and streaming categories of any body checked for this article — a fact about which award bodies actually cover this category, not an editorial preference.

Award years, not claimed debut years, anchor the ordering logic here for the thinnest records. Where a performer’s only verifiable date is the year she won an award, that year is treated as the earliest confirmed point in her career, and this page does not guess at an earlier start date to make the record look more established than it is.

TermWhat it meansHow it differs
Cam Model of the Year (XBIZ)XBIZ’s annual, juried award for the year’s standout cam performer, run in separate Studio and Independent tracks in some years. Not the same as XBIZ’s film-side Female/Male Performer of the Year, which judges scripted or scene-based releases rather than live camming.
Live Cam Model of the Year (XBIZ)A related but distinct XBIZ category specifically for live broadcast performance, run in some years alongside the broader Cam Model of the Year title.Winning one does not imply winning the other in the same year, though several performers on this list have won both across their careers.
Best Cam Model (NightMoves)NightMoves’ dual-track award, split between a Fan’s Choice and an Editor’s Choice winner, run through the 2010s.Two winners can exist in the same year for the same category — a structural difference from XBIZ and AVN’s single-winner format.
Cam Performer of the Year (Pornhub Awards)A platform-data-informed award run by Pornhub in its first two ceremonies (2018–2019), based partly on streaming and engagement figures rather than a panel vote alone.Distinct from a purely juried award, and from Pornhub’s own internal model leaderboards, which are not used as a ranking input on this page — see the industry section.
XMA Creator AwardsXBIZ’s rebranded, creator-economy-focused ceremony from 2025 onward, including Female/Male/Trans Streamer of the Year and a Rising Streamer newcomer category. The same body as the XBIZ Awards under a new name, not a separate or lesser ceremony — its 2025 and 2026 winners are treated identically to earlier XBIZ cam winners on this page.
Studio cam model vs. independent cam modelA studio-affiliated model (for example, a Studio 20 performer) broadcasts through a company that provides equipment, traffic and account management for a cut of earnings; an independent model runs her own account and keeps a larger share but must build her own audience.XBIZ has run separate award tracks for each in some years — several performers on this list are explicitly Independent-category winners, others Studio-category.
Context

From paysites to tokens to the creator platform: three shifts, and what each did to performers

1995–2003

Paysites and the first lifecaster

Danni Ashe launched Danni’s Hard Drive in July 1995, teaching herself HTML in two weeks to build one of the earliest paysite businesses on the web; by 2001 it was generating an estimated $6.5 million a year, and Ashe was named the most downloaded woman on the internet by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2000. A year after Danni’s Hard Drive launched, Jennifer Ringley began JenniCam in April 1996 — a continuously streaming webcam in her dorm room, refreshing every three minutes and eventually drawing millions of daily viewers before she closed it at the end of 2003. JenniCam was not commercial pornography, but it established the format every camming platform still uses: one person, one camera, one continuous feed, with viewers paying for closer or more private access. Performers in this era who wanted to be paid at all needed the technical skill and capital to build and run their own site, which put ownership almost entirely in performers’ hands but made reaching an audience the hardest part of the job.

2004–2010

The studio-owned per-minute cam site

MyFreeCams launched on 28 August 2004 and by 2010 XBIZ was describing it as "one of the world’s largest adult webcam communities", with more than 100,000 models and five million members. This era centralised the audience-building problem the paysite era left to individual performers: a small number of large, studio-run platforms (MyFreeCams, LiveJasmin, Streamate, and the studio structures behind performers like this list’s Devious Angel) provided traffic, billing and often equipment in exchange for a cut of a per-minute or token rate, shifting the trade-off from "own everything, reach nobody" to "reach everyone, own less". CNBC reported in 2013 that top earners on these platforms could make $75,000–$100,000 a month, enough that some studio-contracted film performers began camming alongside their film work.

2011–2015

The freemium tipping shift

Chaturbate launched in 2011 built around a different economic model: free-to-view broadcasts funded by token tips rather than a per-minute charge to watch at all. That structurally rewarded personality and audience-building over gatekeeping access, and it is the platform most closely associated with this article’s category name — several performers on this list, including Jenny Blighe and Ashe Maree, built their recognised careers primarily through this freemium format. It came with a real cost: Chaturbate’s own published figures put the platform’s cut of a model’s token earnings at 40–50%, with a token worth roughly $0.05 to the model against a purchase cost of around $0.10 to the viewer, and a $50 minimum before a model can be paid out at all — a structural fact that made scale, not simply talent, the determining factor in who could earn a living this way.

2016–present

The creator-platform era, and the blurring of what "camgirl" even means

Tim Stokely launched OnlyFans in London in November 2016 on an 80/20 creator-platform split, a meaningfully better cut than the camming platforms it eventually overshadowed — and by 2018, MyFreeCams itself had acquired 75% ownership of OnlyFans’ parent company, Fenix International, tying the old per-minute cam economy directly to the platform that would go on to redefine adult content sales entirely. OnlyFans grew sharply during the Covid-19 pandemic and now pays out roughly $6.6 billion a year to creators. The result is a field where "camgirl" and "content creator" increasingly overlap rather than describe separate jobs: several performers verified for this list, including Amouranth and GoAskAlex, now work across live camming, subscription content and mainstream livestreaming simultaneously, and the highest-profile recent entrant on this page built her audience on Twitch, a platform with no adult content policy at all, before ever appearing on an adult-industry awards ballot.

Cuts of the same data

Ranked by sub-category

Different cuts of the same scored data, for readers looking for something more specific than a general list.

Recognised by more than one award body

Only two performers on this list have cam-specific recognition from more than one independent award body — the strongest possible signal this rubric can measure.

Built platform standing outside a trophy — press and advocacy

Ranked on named coverage rather than, or in addition to, a ceremony win: mainstream press, camming-industry trade press, and a self-directed public disclosure respectively.

Crossed over from a mainstream, non-adult platform

Built an audience on Twitch before entering the adult-camming award system at all — a distinct route into this field from everyone else on the list.

A single verified award, and nothing claimed beyond it

Ranked on one audited cam-specific win each. This page states plainly that this is the limit of the public record for these five, rather than filling the gap with unsourced detail.

Most recently recognised (2025–2026)

XBIZ’s renamed XMA Creator Awards are still actively naming new cam and streaming winners each year — these are the two most recent confirmed for this list.

Editorial process

The names everyone expects, and where to actually find them

Several performers dominate general "camgirl" search results more than anyone ranked above, and most of them have a genuine camming or creator-platform record. They are not missing by accident — five are already the defined entry on a different Pornstar Ranked ranking, and duplicating their record here would mean two pages quietly diverging on the same person’s facts over time. One name that circulates for this keyword is not a camming performer at all, and is corrected below rather than silently omitted.

Removed since the last edition

Stephanie Cam

A name-collision trap this article caught directly: Stephanie Cam is Miss Universe Honduras 2024, a pageant titleholder and professional model with no connection to camming or the adult industry whatsoever. The surname coincidence puts her in front of anyone searching loosely for this keyword, and she does not belong on this or any adult-performer list.

Background

How camming actually pays — and why a platform’s own "top model" list is not a merit ranking

Camming runs on tokens and tips, not fixed wages, and the specifics of that economy explain both why this category is so hard to rank fairly and why this page does not simply defer to a platform’s own leaderboard.

The token spread is the platform’s real cut

Chaturbate’s own documentation and independent reporting put the platform’s share of a model’s token earnings at 40–50%: a token is worth about $0.05 to the performer but costs a viewer roughly $0.10 to buy, with a $50 minimum balance before any payout happens at all. That spread, not a flat commission, is where most of a camming platform’s revenue comes from, and it means a model’s headline "earnings" figure and her actual take-home have never been the same number.

The creator-platform split looks better on paper, and changed the whole market

OnlyFans pays creators roughly 80% of subscription and tip revenue, a meaningfully larger share than the classic camming-platform split — one clear reason the field has shifted toward subscription content alongside, or instead of, live camming since 2016. It is not a simple improvement, though: OnlyFans has no live component at all, so the audience-relationship and consistency-of-schedule qualities this article’s rubric measures do not transfer directly from a subscription feed the way they do from an ongoing camming presence.

Studio versus independent is a real trade-off, not a value judgement

A studio-affiliated model gets traffic, equipment and account management in exchange for a larger cut of her earnings; an independent model keeps more but has to build her own audience from nothing, exactly as Vicky Vette did running her own site since the 2000s. XBIZ has run separate award tracks for each category in some years specifically because the two paths produce genuinely different careers, and this page treats a Studio-category win and an Independent-category win as different, not lesser, credentials.

A platform’s "top model" ranking is payout-weighted, not merit-weighted — and this page does not use it

Every major camming platform publishes some version of a leaderboard, and none of them measure audience size, consistency or skill directly: they measure how much money a small number of high-spending viewers chose to tip in a given window, which can be moved dramatically by a single large tipper on a single night. That is a real and useful number for the platform’s own business, but it is not a ranking of who the best camgirl is, and this page deliberately does not import any platform leaderboard as a scoring input for exactly that reason — every input on this page is either an independently juried or audience-voted award, or named press coverage, neither of which a single tipper can move.

The awards ecosystem measures something different from film-side awards, on purpose

AVN and XBIZ’s film-side categories judge a finished, edited release against a jury watching it after the fact. Cam-specific categories — XBIZ’s Cam Model and Live Cam Model of the Year, NightMoves’ dual Fan’s Choice/Editor’s Choice format, the Pornhub Awards’ platform-data-informed Cam Performer of the Year in its first two ceremonies — are voted on some mix of ongoing audience engagement and platform performance rather than a single reviewed work, which is structurally closer to what this article’s rubric is trying to measure directly. That is also why this page treats a cam-specific award as a meaningful but not dominant signal: it is real recognition, but it is closer to an audience-consistency measure already, which is why Demand and Longevity carry more separate weight here than Recognition does.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best camgirl right now?

Vicky Vette ranks first on our index. She is the only performer verified for this list inducted into two separate Halls of Fame — NightMoves in 2012 and AVN in 2016 — built on two decades of running her own independent site, VickyAtHome.com, rather than a studio contract. Amouranth ranks second and Reya Sunshine ranks third.

What counts as a "camgirl" on this list?

A performer who broadcasts live on camera for a paying audience, on a platform she does not own outright. She is ranked here only if she also has an established public professional profile: a documented cam-specific award or nomination from AVN, XBIZ, XBIZ Europa, NightMoves or the Pornhub Awards; named coverage in established trade or mainstream press; or an official platform presence she has repeatedly and publicly acknowledged as hers.

Why do so many entries here have no birth date, city or real name?

Because camming is a pseudonymous industry by default, and this page will not publish a real name, location, employer or age that the performer herself has not made public. Several performers on this list are ranked entirely on the strength of one verified award, with no further biographical detail available anywhere — that is stated directly on each entry rather than filled in with a guess.

What is the difference between XBIZ’s Cam Model of the Year and Live Cam Model of the Year?

Both are genuine XBIZ categories, run in some years alongside each other: Cam Model of the Year (sometimes split into Studio and Independent tracks) recognises overall standing in the camming field for that year, while Live Cam Model of the Year specifically recognises live broadcast performance. Several performers checked for this article have won one but not the other in a given year.

How do camming platforms actually pay performers?

Mostly through tipping in platform-specific tokens rather than a fixed wage. Chaturbate’s own figures show it takes roughly 40–50% of a model’s token earnings, with a token worth about $0.05 to the performer against a purchase price of around $0.10 to the viewer. Subscription-based creator platforms like OnlyFans pay a larger share, around 80%, but have no live-camming component at all. What any of that adds up to over a career is the question this site's richest pornstars page tries to answer with documented figures rather than guesses.

Why isn’t Eva Elfie, Sweetie Fox or Kendra Sunderland on this list?

All three have genuine camming or creator-platform roots and real award recognition, but each already has a defined performer record on another Pornstar Ranked ranking, and this programme does not duplicate a performer’s facts across two pages. They are named in the near-misses section, along with Kissa Sins, Jia Lissa and Mia Khalifa.

Is Amouranth really a "camgirl"?

She meets this article’s inclusion bar on two separate grounds: an AVN Award (Favorite Creator Site Star, 2023) and sustained streaming on the camming platforms Chaturbate and Jerkmate since 2022. Her career began on Twitch, a mainstream platform with no adult content policy, which makes her route into this field distinct from every other performer ranked here — a difference this page states directly rather than treating her as a typical case.

What is the difference between a studio cam model and an independent cam model?

A studio-affiliated model broadcasts through a company (for example, this article’s Devious Angel, who works through Studio 20) that provides equipment, traffic and account management in exchange for a cut of her earnings. An independent model runs her own account, keeps a larger share of what she earns, and has to build her own audience from nothing. XBIZ has run separate award tracks for each in some years, and this page treats a win in either track as a genuine, distinct credential.

Why is Body of Work weighted so low on this list?

Because it measures scene-credit volume and studio breadth, and a camming career has neither in any comparable sense — there is no equivalent of a discrete scene credit in a live broadcast, and several performers on this list have never had a studio affiliation at all. It falls to 5% here from the programme’s 20% default, the largest single cut of any pillar in any article we publish, with the difference redistributed mainly to Demand and Longevity.

How often is this page updated, and does it use platform leaderboards?

This page is re-audited every six months, with award-related pillars updated within two weeks of a relevant ceremony, in line with the rest of this programme. It deliberately does not use any camming platform’s own "top model" leaderboard as a scoring input, because those leaderboards measure a given window’s highest-spending tippers, not audience size, consistency or skill — the reasoning is set out in full in the industry section above.

Methodology · The Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v3.0

How we ranked these performers

A 100-point composite built from six weighted pillars. Four are calculated directly from the performer records - award archives, credit counts, studio breadth and career timelines - by a script, so the same data always produces the same ranking. Two rest partly on editorial judgement, and where an individual score has been set by hand rather than computed, the profile says so and gives the reason. Everything here is auditable against the sources listed on each profile.

Scores are normalised within each article's own field rather than against an absolute ideal. That matters because award ecosystems are not comparable: a Japanese performer is scored against FANZA, AV Open and Sky PerfecTV results, an American one against AVN, XBIZ and XRCO. Ranking them on one absolute scale would be meaningless. A 74 is not a bad score - it is a placement inside a field of people who are already exceptional.

⚖︎

Weights for this category. Body of Work falls to 5% from our 20% default — the single largest cut in this programme — because it measures scene-credit volume and studio breadth, and a camming career has neither: there is no discrete "credit" for a live show, and several performers on this list have never worked with a studio at all. Demand rises to 32% from 20% because audience relationship is not one signal among several here, it is the actual product — a camgirl’s income and career exist only for as long as people choose to keep watching her, live, repeatedly, which is a direct measure of demand in a way a studio release schedule is not. Longevity rises to 23% from 10% because consistency of schedule is the camming-specific equivalent of a body of work: staying on a platform, on a schedule, for years, is harder and more informative than a single strong month. Recognition falls to 15% from 25% because it remains the only auditable inclusion gate this page has — cam-specific awards are real, checkable facts — but a single ceremony win says less about an ongoing camming career than it does about a film career built around discrete, juried releases. Craft falls slightly to 10% and Influence rises to 15%, because platform standing, business ownership and crossover reach (running your own site, being renamed a category winner across successive ceremony rebrands, building an audience on a mainstream platform before entering the adult-camming award system at all) are closer to what "success" means in this field than any judgement about screen presence in the traditional sense.

The second thing this page does differently is the scoring itself. Every other ranking in this programme weighs award archives, credit volume and studio breadth heavily, because those things genuinely measure a film career. None of them measure a camming career in any useful way — there is no equivalent of a scene credit in a live show, and a meaningful share of this field has never signed with a studio at all. The rubric below cuts Body of Work to 5%, the largest single reduction anywhere in this programme, and rebuilds the model around audience relationship, consistency of schedule and platform standing instead. The full justification is published in `pillarWeightNote` below, not asserted.

The third thing worth saying plainly: several of the strongest records on this page belong to performers with no English Wikipedia biography at all, which is normal for this category rather than a sign of thin evidence. Wikipedia deprecated its adult-performer notability guideline in 2019, and camming award winners were disproportionately affected because they were rarely covered outside the award announcement to begin with. Where that is the case, this page says so directly and sources the record to the ceremony’s own page instead.

⚠︎

Before you publish this page: Every performer on this list cleared a specific bar before ranking began: a documented cam-specific award verified against the ceremony’s own page, named coverage in established trade or mainstream press, or a platform presence she has publicly and repeatedly acknowledged as hers. Thirteen of sixteen records are medium or low confidence, and eight carry no independently verifiable detail beyond a single award — that reflects the genuine state of the public record for pseudonymous cam performers, not an editorial shortfall, and each such entry says so directly. No real name, city, employer or age appears anywhere on this page unless the performer herself has published it. This page is re-audited every six months, with award-related pillars updated within two weeks of a relevant ceremony; verify anything marked medium or low before republishing elsewhere.

Industry Recognition
15%
Computed from records

Awards, nominations and Hall of Fame status.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from the award arrays on each performer record. A Hall of Fame induction is the heaviest single signal, then a Performer of the Year win, then a category win, then any other competitive win, then a nomination at roughly a quarter weight. Lifetime Achievement honours are scored as ordinary wins rather than as Performer of the Year, because Hall of Fame induction already captures career recognition and double-counting it visibly distorted an earlier edition of our all-time list.

Awards are the only independently-audited quality signal this industry produces. They are voted by peers and press, their archives are public, and they are the one input a reader can check without taking our word for anything.

Body of Work
5%
Computed from records

Credit volume, studio breadth and niche-defining titles.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented credit count and the number of distinct studios a performer has worked with. Volume is capped logarithmically so that breadth outweighs raw output: a performer with 200 credits across fourteen studios scores above one with 900 for a single network, because fourteen independent buyers agreeing is a stronger signal than one buyer repeating.

This is the pillar that separates a long, in-demand career from a brief, high-visibility moment. Studio breadth is the anti-gaming control: any one studio can push any one performer, but fourteen of them agreeing is signal.

Audience Demand
32%
Blind-scored panel

Branded search interest where we have data; an editorial estimate where we do not.

How it is scored

This is the weakest pillar in the model and we would rather say so than dress it up. Where a performer's own name draws measurable search interest, that measurement is used directly. At present that covers a minority of the performers we have scored. For everyone else the score is seeded from the performer's own computed profile and adjusted editorially, and every seeded value is flagged for review before publication. Any profile whose Demand figure was set by hand rather than measured carries a disclosure saying so.

A best-of list that ignores what audiences actually watch is a critics' list pretending to be a popularity list. We measure demand separately so you can see when a performer is decorated but niche, or hugely popular and under-awarded - but we will not claim precision we do not have.

Craft & Screen Presence
10%
Blind-scored panel

Performance quality, range and screen presence. An editorial judgement.

How it is scored

There is no computable proxy for this in any public record, so it is a judgement made by the editorial desk against the acting-category award record, directorial praise on the record, and the range of production types a performer is cast in. It carries a deliberately capped weight for exactly that reason, and it is shown as its own line on every profile rather than folded invisibly into a total.

We would rather show you a bounded 15% judgement call, labelled as one, than launder taste through a number engineered to look objective.

Longevity & Consistency
23%
Computed from records

Years active, output consistency and successful career restarts.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented debut year to the most recent verified release, adjusted for gaps. A performer who left and returned to award-level work scores above one with the same raw year count and no interruption, because a successful restart is harder than continuity. Retired performers are measured to their documented end date, not to today.

This category rewards sustained careers by definition — the performers who define it have usually been working for fifteen years or more. Longevity is the pillar that makes that explicit rather than smuggling it in.

Influence & Crossover
15%
Blind-scored panel

Mainstream reach, business ownership, directing and advocacy.

How it is scored

Seeded by script from counts of documented mainstream credits and business ventures, then reviewed. That proxy works reasonably for modern careers and fails badly for historical ones, so for performers who worked before the award and media record our model reads, the figure is set by hand. Every such case is disclosed on the profile.

Some performers changed what the job is, not just how well it is done. Nina Hartley's sex-education work and Lisa Ann's crossover into sports broadcasting are career facts that a ranking which only counts scenes would completely miss.

The six-step process

1

Define the field

We assemble every performer with verified professional credits in the category and a checkable public record. Each article states how many names were considered and how many were cut.

2

Pull the records

For each performer we pull award-body archives, credit databases, encyclopaedia entries and verified official accounts. Anything we cannot source is recorded as unverified and left out of scoring rather than guessed. Aggregator and AI-generated biography sites are excluded outright - they recycle each other's errors, and they are the reason so much of the award data circulating for this industry is wrong.

3

Compute the record-derived pillars

Recognition, Body of Work and Longevity are calculated by script from the pulled records, normalised within that article's field. No human sets these numbers.

4

Set the judgement pillars

Craft is an editorial score. Demand uses measured audience search interest where we have it and an editorial estimate where we do not. Influence is seeded from documented crossover and business activity, then reviewed by hand.

5

Weight, rank, and sanity-check

Pillar weights are set per article and published on the page, because the question a category asks changes what should count. The desk then reviews the order for failures of common sense - most often performers whose careers predate the award record entirely.

6

Disclose every intervention

Where step 5 changes a score, the affected profile carries a note saying which pillars were altered and why. Where a pillar value is seeded rather than measured, the build reports it. We publish the corrections log rather than editing silently.

✕ Who we exclude, and why

  • Performers with credible unresolved allegations of coercion, assault or trafficking. A ranking is an endorsement of a professional record, and we will not extend one where consent is in question.
  • Anyone whose age at the time of any listed credit cannot be independently verified as 18 or over.
  • Performers who have publicly asked to be left off editorial rankings. Removal requests are honoured without argument and without requiring a reason.
  • Content, imagery or links sourced from leaks, hacks or non-consensual distribution — regardless of how widely circulated it is elsewhere.

△ Where this model is weak

  • Demand is our weakest inputWe have measured audience search interest for only a minority of the performers scored so far. The rest carry editorial estimates. This is the pillar most likely to move as our measurement of audience demand widens.
  • Award archives favour recent, American productionAVN, XBIZ and XRCO are US bodies founded in the 1980s and 1990s. Performers who worked earlier, or outside the United States, are structurally disadvantaged by the Recognition pillar. We correct for it by hand and disclose each correction, which is a fix but not a solution.
  • Craft is a judgement, and judgements varyOne informed desk scoring against the acting-award record is better than asserting an order with no reasoning, but it is still a view. It is capped at 15% and shown separately for that reason.
  • Pre-2000 credit counts are unreliableOlder releases are documented far less consistently than modern ones, which understates the output of long careers. The Longevity pillar partly offsets this; it does not fully correct it.
  • Normalisation means scores are not cross-comparableAn 88 on our Japanese ranking and an 88 on our MILF ranking are not the same achievement. Each score positions a performer within her own field, and comparing across articles is not a use these numbers support.

Corrections and update log

Factual corrections are made within 48 hours of verification and logged, dated and described at the foot of the article. Changes to the scoring model itself are logged the same way - when we found that Lifetime Achievement honours were being scored as Performer of the Year wins, we published the fix and the resulting rank changes rather than quietly re-running the build. Cadence: Full re-audit every six months; award pillars updated within 14 days of each major awards ceremony. Next full audit: 2027-02-20.

What changed in this edition

  • First edition. Sixteen performers scored on the Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v2.1, re-weighted specifically for camming — the largest cut to Body of Work (to 5%) and the largest combined rise to Demand and Longevity (to 32% and 23%) of any article in this programme.
  • Six performers excluded as already defined on other Pornstar Ranked pages rather than duplicated here: Eva Elfie, Sweetie Fox, Kendra Sunderland, Kissa Sins, Jia Lissa and Mia Khalifa. All six are named in the near-misses section.
  • One name-collision correction: "Stephanie Cam" is Miss Universe Honduras 2024, not a camming performer, and is named directly in the near-misses section so the mistake does not keep circulating.
  • The industry section sets out, with sourced figures, why a camming platform’s own "top model" leaderboard is a payout-weighted ranking of that week’s biggest tippers rather than a merit-based measure of audience size or consistency — and why this page does not use those leaderboards as a ranking input.
  • Thirteen of sixteen records score below "high" confidence, and eight carry a single verified award as their entire public credential, by design — this page treats one audited cam-specific award win as sufficient grounds for inclusion, consistent with how this programme has always handled thinly documented but genuinely verified performers.
2026-08-22
edition

First edition published. Sixteen performers scored on Index v2.1 with category-adjusted weights: Body of Work cut to 5% (from 20%), Demand raised to 32% and Longevity raised to 23%.

2026-08-22
note

Six performers excluded as duplicates of existing Pornstar Ranked entries rather than re-defined here: Eva Elfie, Sweetie Fox, Kendra Sunderland, Kissa Sins, Jia Lissa, Mia Khalifa. All six named in the near-misses section.

2026-08-22
correction

"Stephanie Cam" identified as a name-collision trap — she is Miss Universe Honduras 2024, unconnected to camming — and named in the corrections section so the mistake does not keep circulating on this keyword.

2026-08-22
confidence

Thirteen of sixteen records score below "high" confidence (five medium, eight low); most carry a single verified cam-specific award as their entire independently sourced credential. None of the thirteen has a dedicated Wikipedia biography, consistent with Wikipedia’s 2019 deprecation of its adult-performer notability guideline.
