Best Pussy Pornstars: What the Solo Award Record Actually Shows

The industry has never judged the thing this search term is asking about, and it has never had a way to.

What it has judged, almost every year from 2001 to 2019, is the solo scene: one performer, no partner, nothing else in the frame, scored against everyone else who did the same thing that year.

AVN called it Best Solo Sex Scene, then also Best Tease Performance, then merged the two into Best Solo/Tease Performance in 2015 and quietly stopped running it after 2019.

That eighteen-year series is a real, public, checkable record, and this page is built on it — every result below was read off the ceremony’s own page rather than lifted from a biography.

The short answer

This page ranks documented solo award records, not anyone’s body. Jenna Haze leads it: she won AVN’s Best Solo Sex Scene in 2003 and its Best Tease Performance in 2009, both confirmed on the ceremonies’ own pages, and in 2009 swept Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO in the same season. Asa Akira ranks second and Venus Lux third.

Why Jenna ranks 1st

Haze bookended her performing career with this category. She won Best Solo Sex Scene at the 20th AVN Awards in 2003 for Big Bottom Sadie, in the same year she took Best New Starlet, and Best Tease Performance at the 26th in 2009 for Pretty as They Cum — the year she swept Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO simultaneously, which no performer has done before or since.

Both solo results were checked against the ceremonies’ own pages here. That span matters for this page specifically: the solo win came from a first-year performer and the tease win from the most decorated woman in the industry that season, which is unusual in a category that usually rewards one or the other.

The case against: She retired from performing in 2012 and no aggregate credit count for her has ever been independently audited, so her Body of Work score rests on documented contracts and named titles rather than on a countable filmography.

Career

Haze entered the industry in July 2001 at nineteen, working exclusively with women for three years under contract to Jill Kelly Productions out of loyalty to a boyfriend who worked as an industry cameraman. She returned to mixed-gender scenes in 2006 with Jenna Haze Darkside, produced by her new partner Jules Jordan, and spent the rest of the decade collecting scene-specific wins before 2009, when she became the only performer ever to hold Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO simultaneously. She launched her own label, Jennaration X Studios, that same year and retired from performing in February 2012.

Signature: The only performer on this list — and one of only two in AVN’s history, after a performer credited only as Missy — to win Best New Starlet and Female Performer of the Year over the course of a career, and 2009 remains the sole year any performer has swept Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XBIZ and XRCO at once.

Why Asa ranks 2nd

Akira holds the deepest record in this category that the ceremony archives document. At the 29th AVN Awards in 2012 she won Best Solo Sex Scene and Best Tease Performance — the two solo-side categories the ceremony ran that year — taking both at a single ceremony, which nobody else in the archive did.

Five years later, after AVN merged the two into Best Solo/Tease Performance, she won that as well, for Asa Goes to Hell at the 34th. All three results were read off the ceremonies’ own pages for this article rather than taken from a biography.

Around that sit four hall-of-fame inductions, Female Performer of the Year from AVN and twice from XRCO, 689 documented credits across roughly fifty studios, two published memoirs and a directing career.

The case against: Her wider reputation rests on partnered work and on a body of work of a scale most solo specialists never build, so the solo record reads as one strong strand of a very broad career rather than the thing the career was organised around. Her birth year is disputed between 1985 and 1986 even on her own sources.

Akira worked as a dominatrix and stripper before debuting on camera in 2006, going on to appear in nearly 700 productions and become one of the most decorated performers of the 2010s. She won AVN Female Performer of the Year in 2013, only the third Asian performer to take the award. She moved into directing in 2013 and signed an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures the same year, building a substantial parallel career as a podcast host and published memoirist.

Signature: Four separate hall-of-fame inductions, a Performer of the Year from two different bodies, and two books — a career that reads as a professional record rather than a moment.

Why Venus ranks 3rd

Lux took Best Solo Site at the 2014 Transgender Erotica Awards, one of three category wins she had from that body that year, and the site award is the one that belongs on this page: it recognises a performer running her own solo operation rather than appearing in someone else’s.

She did it while building at speed — a three-year exclusive distribution deal with Pulse Distribution in December 2014, TransGlobal Magazine launched in October 2015, the TS Fetishes site and the Syren Network in 2016, her own studio throughout, and a book compiled from her columns in March 2015.

Across the same window she held Transsexual Performer of the Year at AVN in 2015 and 2016 and at XBIZ in 2014 and 2015. The business record and the award record ran on one timeline, not in sequence.

The case against: Her real name, birth date and exact birthplace are undocumented, the year she began performing is not published, and her XBIZ titles are corroborated only by contemporaneous ceremony video rather than by an XBIZ-hosted winners list.

Venus Lux built a run of businesses in quick succession: a three-year exclusive distribution deal with Pulse Distribution signed in December 2014, TransGlobal Magazine launched the following October, the TS Fetishes website and the Syren Network both launched in 2016, and her own studio, Venus Lux Entertainment. She published Venus Lux Diaries, a book compiled from her columns, in March 2015. Across the same period she won Transsexual Performer of the Year at both AVN (2015, 2016) and XBIZ (2014, 2015) — the top annual title in that category at both bodies in successive years — plus AVN’s Best Transsexual Sex Scene in 2015 and three category wins in 2014 from the award body now known as the Transgender Erotica Awards, which was still running under its original name that year. She appeared on Brody Stevens: Enjoy It! (2012), VICE (2014) and BuzzFeed (2016), and featured in the documentary After Porn Ends 2.

Signature: Won the top annual performer title at both major award bodies in successive years while simultaneously launching a magazine, a network, a website and a distribution deal — recognition and business expansion on the same timeline rather than one following the other.

Why Alana ranks 4th

Evans won Best Solo Sex Scene at the 24th AVN Awards in 2007 for Corruption, verified against that ceremony’s page, five years after XRCO had named her its Unsung Siren.

What separates her record from the rest of this field is what came after: she has been president of the Adult Performers Actors Guild since 2018, the closest thing the American industry has to a performer union, and co-founded two production companies, CreamWorks Films in 2006 and Royalty X Films in 2008.

Three separate halls of fame have since inducted her — AVN in 2015, XRCO and Urban X both in 2019. She has also written a regular column for High Times since 2014.

The case against: Her exact debut year and total credit count are both undocumented, and her single competitive scene win means the Recognition score leans heavily on hall-of-fame inductions, which reward a whole career rather than the specific work this page is about.

Evans entered the industry in the early 2000s and became vice-president, then in February 2018 president, of the Adult Performers Actors Guild (APAG), described as a federally recognised union representing performers. She co-founded two production companies, CreamWorks Films (2006) and Royalty X Films (2008), and holds Hall of Fame inductions from AVN, XRCO and the Urban X Awards. Beyond performing she has written a cannabis-culture column for High Times and co-launched a gaming site aimed at adult performers.

Why Vicky ranks 5th

Vette is the longest continuous solo operation in this field. She won Best Tease Performance at the 22nd AVN Awards in 2005 for Metropolis, verified on that ceremony’s page, and AVN gave her Best Solo Girl Website in 2014 for VickyAtHome.com — the site she has personally run since 2003 and still runs, alongside the VNA Network she built around it.

XBIZ named her Web Babe of the Year in 2012 and Web Star of the Year in 2013; the camming side of that business is where most of it happens.

She is the only performer in this field with two hall-of-fame inductions, NightMoves in 2012 and AVN in 2016, and she licenses a toy line through Doc Johnson.

The case against: Her strongest awards are web-, fan- and platform-category titles rather than scene awards judged against a full field, and no aggregate credit count exists for her at all, which understates a career that has never been organised around studio releases.

Career

Born in Stavanger, Vicky Vette moved to Canada at five and to the United States in her mid-thirties. She debuted on camera in 2003 and built her career around VickyAtHome.com and the VNA Network, a webcam and production platform she operates rather than a studio contract, alongside film work that earned an AVN Best Tease Performance win in 2005. She was inducted into the NightMoves Hall of Fame in 2012 and the AVN Hall of Fame in 2016 — the only performer in this field with two separate Hall of Fame inductions — won XBIZ’s Web Babe of the Year and Web Star of the Year in consecutive years (2012–2013), and took AVN’s Best Solo Girl Website award twice for the site she has personally run for two decades. She also produces a licensed adult-toy line, the Vicky Quickie, through Doc Johnson.

Signature: The only performer on this list inducted into two separate Halls of Fame, for running the same independent cam and webmistress operation continuously since 2003 — exactly the audience-relationship and platform-standing record this article’s rubric is built to reward.

Why Joanna ranks 6th

Angel is the clearest case on this page of the category being won by someone who also owned the production.

She took Best Solo Sex Scene at the 28th AVN Awards in 2011 for Rebel Girl and again at the 30th in 2013 for Joanna Angel: Filthy Whore, both confirmed on the ceremonies’ own pages, and both released through Burning Angel — the label she co-founded in 2002 at nineteen with no outside backing and built into the durable commercial home of the alt-porn scene.

AVN separately gave her Best Porn Star Website four times between 2011 and 2015, a category that measures the same thing this page is about: a performer who is the entire product. AVN inducted her into its Hall of Fame in 2016, NightMoves in 2013.

The case against: No reliable total credit count is published for her, and a 2016 XRCO Hall of Fame induction claimed on her own Wikipedia biography does not appear on Wikipedia’s list of XRCO inductees, so it is treated as unconfirmed and left off her record.

Joanna Angel, born Joanna Mostov in Brooklyn, co-founded BurningAngel.com with Mitch Fontaine in April 2002 while still a college student, building the site into what is widely credited as the company that made alt-porn commercially viable rather than a niche curiosity. She works as actress, director, writer and producer for her own label, and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2016, confirmed on AVN’s own winners list, and the NightMoves Hall of Fame. A widely repeated claim — carried on her own Wikipedia biography — that she was also inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2016 does not appear anywhere on Wikipedia’s own curated list of XRCO Hall of Fame members, and the equivalent Wikidata statement carries no reference at all; it is not scored here.

Why Bailey ranks 7th

Jay won Best Solo Model at the 2010 Transgender Erotica Awards on the strength of self-produced solo and webcam work, a year before AVN gave her Transsexual Performer of the Year for the first time.

She won that title again in 2012, the first performer in the category to take it twice running, and AVN voters returned a fan-voted Favorite Trans Performer award to her in 2016, four years after her studio output had largely stopped.

Her inclusion here is the clearest illustration of what this page ranks and what it refuses to rank: a documented award for solo work, held by a performer whose body is nobody’s business and is not described anywhere on this site.

Her second career is fifteen years of podcasting, from The Bailey Jay Show through Sugar and Spice with the actress Jen Richards.

The case against: English Wikipedia withholds her birth date and birthplace under its living-persons privacy policy and this site follows that, so her age and longevity are not fully computable. The 2010 Transgender Erotica Award itself could not be cross-checked, because that body publishes no winners archive.

Jay built an audience on her own site and webcam work before either award body noticed, then won AVN Transsexual Performer of the Year in consecutive years, 2011 and 2012 — the first performer in the category to do so. Four years after her second win, with her studio output long behind her, AVN voters gave her the fan-voted Favorite Trans Performer award at the 33rd ceremony. The second half of her career has been audio: The Bailey Jay Show ran from 2010 to 2021, and she has since co-hosted The Trans Witching Hour, Blood Lust and Sugar and Spice with the actress Jen Richards, plus a Patreon-only show. She has been married to the photographer Matthew Terhune since 2011.

Signature: The first performer to win this category two years running, and the only one on this list whose second act is a fifteen-year podcasting career rather than a studio.

Why Ariel ranks 8th

Rebel built the whole career this page is about, rather than winning one scene inside a bigger one. From her 2005 debut she worked primarily in solo and glamour content on her own site rather than under a studio contract, and the recognition followed the business: BAA Best Solo Girl Site in 2007, XBIZ Web Babe/Star of the Year in 2010, AVN Best Solo Girl Website of the Year and a Miss FreeOnes Best Adult Model title in 2012, an XBIZ Best Scene award in 2014 and XBIZ Web Star of the Year in 2015 — a decade of site- and web-category wins from three separate bodies.

She began appearing in Marc Dorcel scenes from 2013, well after the independent operation was established. She is one of Montreal’s better-documented exports.

The case against: Her English Wikipedia article was deleted after the 2019 policy change, so the record rests on French Wikipedia, and none of her site-category awards could be cross-checked against the awarding bodies’ own ceremony pages the way the AVN scene results on this page were.

Ariel Rebel debuted in 2005 and built one of the largest independent followings of the mid-2000s amateur-and-glamour era, working primarily in solo and glamour-style content rather than studio-contract hardcore production, later appearing in scenes for Marc Dorcel from 2013. French Wikipedia documents a decade-long run of web/site-category recognition: a BAA Award for Best Solo Girl Site in 2007, an XBIZ Award for Web Babe/Star of the Year in 2010, an AVN Award for Best Solo Girl Website of the Year and a Miss FreeOnes Best Adult Model title in 2012, an XBIZ Best Scene award in 2014, and XBIZ Web Star of the Year in 2015.

Signature: A decade of web- and site-category recognition across AVN, XBIZ and Miss FreeOnes — built on an independent solo-content business rather than a studio contract.

Why Devinn ranks 9th

Lane won Best Solo Sex Scene at the 18th AVN Awards in 2001 for In Style, the oldest result in this category that this article could verify against a ceremony page and attach to a full performer record.

What she did with it is the reason she belongs on a page about solo work rather than on a general ranking: she moved from performing into production almost immediately, directing and producing all five installments of The Devinn Lane Show, and hosted six seasons of Playboy TV’s 7 Lives Exposed through 2007.

AVN gave her Best Actress — Video in 2003 as well, so the solo win was not the ceiling of her range. She had been a Penthouse Pet of the Month in October 1999, two years before the AVN result.

The case against: Her birth date and physical details come through German and Russian Wikipedia and Wikidata rather than a cited English source, so the record is medium confidence, and her hardcore performing career was short — 1999 to 2005.

Lane began stripping in 1990 at sixteen to support her child, and was offered hard-core magazine work in 1996 before making her film debut in 1999, initially in lesbian-only scenes, then signing with Wicked Pictures that December. She was Penthouse’s Pet of the Month for October 1999, confirmed independently on German Wikipedia’s dedicated biography, alongside two competitive AVN wins in 2001 and 2003. From 2005 she moved into directing, producing all five installments of The Devinn Lane Show, and hosted Playboy TV’s 7 Lives Exposed for six seasons through 2007, putting her on both sides of the camera within the same decade.

Signature: One of the few performers on this list who converted a Penthouse credit and an AVN-winning performing career directly into a directing and hosting career, rather than the two running in parallel.

Why Teagan ranks 10th

Presley won Best Solo Sex Scene at the 27th AVN Awards in 2010 for Not the Bradys XXX: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!, confirmed on the ceremony’s own page.

It sits in the middle of an unusually shaped career: XRCO named her New Starlet in 2005 when she was nineteen or twenty, gave her Best Cumback in 2009 after she stepped away and returned, and AVN inducted her into its Hall of Fame in 2016 at thirty.

Very few performers in this programme’s records hold a new-talent title, a comeback award and a hall-of-fame induction, and the solo win falls exactly between the second and the third — the point at which the early result stopped looking like a one-off.

The case against: She has no English Wikipedia biography and her record rests on Wikidata plus ceremony pages. A second 27th-ceremony win credited to her elsewhere, in Best All-Girl Three-Way Sex Scene, is given by that ceremony’s page to three other performers; this article relies only on the solo result, which is confirmed.

Wikidata gives a birth date of 24 July 1985 and a working period of 2004 to 2019, putting her first credit at eighteen or nineteen. XRCO — the oldest of the three American award bodies — gave her its New Starlet title in 2005, when a birth date of 24 July 1985 makes her nineteen or twenty depending on where the ceremony fell against her birthday — as early as anyone ranked on this page won a new-talent award from any body. Her later record is more conventional: two scene wins at the 27th AVN Awards in 2010, an XRCO Best Cumback in 2009 after a break, and AVN Hall of Fame induction in 2016.

Signature: Winning a new-talent title from the industry’s oldest award body at nineteen or twenty, and then a Hall of Fame induction eleven years later — the early result was not a one-off, which is what separates a breakout from a career.

Why Bobbi ranks 11th

Eden was nominated for Best Solo Girl Website at the 2013 AVN Awards for BobbiEdenLive.com, the site she has run alongside a career that started in glamour modelling in 1998 — she was runner-up for the Dutch Penthouse Pet of the Year that same first year, and modelled for Club, Men Only and Soho before moving into film.

Her one competitive win is elsewhere and is a real one: Best Actress (Benelux) at the 2004 European X Awards.

What she has that almost nobody else in this field does is durable mainstream visibility in her own country — a Ferry Corsten music video, the 2012 reality series Bobbi in the USA, an autobiography in 2014, and a spot on the Dutch Comedy Central Roast in 2016.

The case against: A nomination in a website category is the thinnest kind of credit this page accepts, and her strongest award is for acting rather than for solo work, so she is here on a documented but modest qualification.

Why Olivia ranks 12th

Del Rio is the only performer here whose solo-category credit is a nomination rather than a win, and she is included because the surrounding record is the strongest in this field outside the top few: roughly 250 titles between 1994 and 2009 for mostly American and French productions, four AVN nominations across 2003 to 2005 including Female Performer of the Year in 2004, and induction into the AVN Hall of Fame at the 42nd ceremony in January 2025, sixteen years after she retired.

Born in Rio Casca, Minas Gerais, she started in Paris working for the director Patrice Cabanel before ever filming, which is why almost none of her work ran through the Brazilian domestic market. Applying the inclusion rule honestly means saying plainly that hers is the weakest solo credit on the page.

The case against: The 2004 nomination could not be cross-checked: the 21st AVN Awards page lists that category’s winner but not its nominees, so this one rests on Portuguese Wikipedia and Wikidata. Her narrative career detail has no English-language encyclopaedia source at all.

Born Olivia Neves de Oliveira in Rio Casca, Minas Gerais, Del Rio began her career in Paris working for director Patrice Cabanel before debuting on film in 1994 at twenty-five, going on to make roughly 250 titles for mostly American and French productions over fifteen years. She drew four AVN nominations in 2003–2005, including Female Performer of the Year in 2004, without a competitive win, and appeared in two episodes of the Swedish television programme Hi Chaparall in 2003. She retired from performing around 2009, later worked as a luxury escort until 2011, then left the industry; in January 2025 the AVN Awards inducted her into its Hall of Fame at the 42nd ceremony.

Signature: A Hall of Fame induction that arrived sixteen years after retirement, on the strength of a body of work built almost entirely for American and French studios rather than the domestic Brazilian market.

Why Anikka ranks 13th

Albrite won this category in the two consecutive years it changed shape. She took Best Tease Performance at the 31st AVN Awards in 2014 for Anikka, and when AVN merged the two solo-side categories into one the following year she won the merged Best Solo/Tease Performance at the 32nd, shared with Dani Daniels and Karlie Montana for Anikka 2.

That 2015 result is worth stating plainly because the shared record for one of her co-winners dismisses it as a probable data-entry error; the 32nd ceremony’s own page carries it, three names and all.

She also holds AVN Female Performer of the Year for 2015 — the only overall top annual title in this field — and Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene in 2015 and 2016.

The case against: There is no dedicated English Wikipedia biography for her — the article at her name redirects to an award list — and her debut year is inferred from her earliest award rather than documented, so the shape of her career before 2014 is not really on the record.

Why Violet ranks 14th

Myers carries the only recent solo-category credit in this field: a Best Solo/Tease Performance nomination at the 2026 AVN Awards, which matters mainly because the category had not appeared on a ceremony page since 2019.

Behind it are two verified competitive wins — Best Foursome/Orgy Sex Scene at the 40th ceremony in January 2023 for High Gear in Blacked Raw V56, and Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene at the 41st in January 2024 for She Ruined Me, made for Deeper — both from the Blacked, Vixen and Deeper group, which is the hardest place in the current American industry to get repeat casting.

She was named a Vixen Angel in May 2023 and runs a non-adult YouTube channel with 434,000 subscribers as of November 2025.

The case against: A nomination is a nomination, and this one is the most recent and least corroborated credit on the page. Wikidata additionally lists Pornhub and Urban X wins for her with no category attached, none of which are scored, and an ancestry claim on the same entity carries no reference at all.

Why Abigail ranks 15th

Mac won Best Solo/Tease Performance at the 33rd AVN Awards in 2016 for Black & White 4 — the sole winner that year, not a shared credit, and confirmed on the ceremony’s own page.

Three years later she won Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene at the 36th for Abigail opposite Kissa Sins, and Pornhub’s own fan-voted awards named her Top Lesbian Performer the same season, a platform category reported here under the platform’s own naming rather than as any claim about her.

Two separate bodies, two different vocabularies, the same underlying year of work. Her placement here rests on the 2016 solo result; the rest is the context that shows it was not an isolated season.

The case against: No English Wikipedia biography exists for her and the record is sourced entirely to Wikidata plus ceremony pages. Her listed debut year is a floor set by her earliest documented award rather than a real career start, so her longevity is almost certainly understated.

Abigail Mac won Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene in 2019 for Abigail opposite Kissa Sins, independently confirmed against the 36th AVN Awards’ own page, the same year Pornhub’s own awards named her Top Lesbian Performer — a platform-run category that uses the word differently from how this article does, and is reported here as the platform’s own category name rather than a claim about her identity. No dedicated English Wikipedia biography exists for her; she is documented here through Wikidata.

Signature: A confirmed AVN scene win the same year Pornhub’s own fan-voted awards separately recognised her under its "lesbian" category — two different bodies, two different naming conventions, same underlying work.

Why Katja ranks 16th

Kassin took Best Solo Sex Scene at the 23rd AVN Awards in 2006, confirmed on that ceremony’s own page, in the same year XRCO gave her its Orgasmic Analist award — an unusual pairing, since the two categories reward almost opposite things. She added a shared AVN Best POV Sex Scene win in 2009.

Born in Leipzig while it was still East Germany, she is the only German-born performer with a verified win in this category, and one of very few people anywhere in this programme’s records to convert a performing career into a documented second professional credential: an associate degree, a psychology BA and a Master of Social Work, all from institutions in Los Angeles, after leaving the industry from 2010.

The case against: She has no dedicated English Wikipedia article, her hair-colour reference traces through Wikidata to a low-reliability aggregator, and her exact retirement year is not documented, so this is a medium-confidence record throughout.

Career

Kassin was born in Leipzig while it was still part of East Germany and built a performing career from 2002, taking an AVN Best Solo Sex Scene win and XRCO's "Orgasmic Analist" award in 2006, then a shared AVN Best POV Sex Scene win in 2009. She later left performing to study in the United States, earning an associate degree from Los Angeles Pierce College, a psychology BA from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Social Work from the same institution.

Signature: A performing career that converted directly into a second, unrelated professional credential — a Master of Social Work — which almost no other name in this category has documented.

Why Kissa ranks 17th

Sins won Best Solo/Tease Performance at the 36th AVN Awards in 2019 — the final year AVN ran the category at all, since neither the 37th nor the 38th ceremony page lists a solo or tease award. That makes hers the closing entry in a series that had run almost continuously since the late 1990s.

The win is worth stating carefully: her shared record lists it as an unconfirmed Wikidata claim, and this article checked it against the ceremony’s own page, where it is carried.

She also won Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene in consecutive years with two different co-stars, Katrina Jade in 2018 and Abigail Mac in 2019 — a category record a single scene cannot produce.

The case against: She has no English Wikipedia biography, her documented activity runs only from 2017 to 2019, and her current career status is not publicly documented — this article makes no claim about it either way.

Kissa Sins won Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene in consecutive years with two different co-stars — Katrina Jade in 2018, Abigail Mac in 2019 — both wins independently confirmed against the 35th and 36th AVN Awards’ own pages. No dedicated English Wikipedia biography exists for her; she is documented here through Wikidata.

Definitions

Why the literal question has no answer, and what does

Start with the honest part. There is no source, at any tier this site accepts, for a ranked answer to the question this keyword literally asks. Our sourcing standard runs Wikipedia biography, then Wikidata, then the award ceremony’s own published results, then reputable press — and none of the four has ever recorded a judgement of the kind this search is looking for, because no such judgement exists to record. What circulates instead is somebody’s opinion of a photograph, republished until it reads like a consensus. Our pornstar measurements page documents that mechanism in detail for body-measurement figures, and it applies here without modification.

Now the useful part. The industry does formally judge something narrow and adjacent, and has done so publicly for two decades: the solo scene. A solo release has one performer in it. There is no co-star to carry a scene, no ensemble to hide inside, no chemistry between two people to credit — the performance is entirely one person’s, and it is scored that way. AVN ran Best Solo Sex Scene as a competitive category from the late 1990s, added Best Tease Performance alongside it, merged the two into Best Solo/Tease Performance for the 32nd ceremony in 2015, and has not listed either on a ceremony page since the 36th in 2019.

That series is the spine of this page. Thirty results across eighteen years, each one read off the relevant ceremony’s own page for this article rather than trusted second-hand — which matters, because this programme has repeatedly found award claims on performer biographies and on Wikidata that the ceremonies themselves do not carry. Around the AVN series sit the equivalents from smaller bodies: the BAA Awards’ Best Solo Girl Site, AVN’s own Best Solo Girl Website, and the Transgender Erotica Awards’ Best Solo Model and Best Solo Site. Those recognise the performer who is also the whole business, which is a distinct and increasingly common version of the same thing.

One consequence of that rule is worth stating rather than leaving for a reader to notice. Inclusion here is a record, not an anatomy — so two of the performers ranked below are trans women whose solo awards come from the Transgender Erotica Awards, and they are here on exactly the same basis as everyone else. Excluding them would only make sense on a page that was secretly ranking bodies after all, which is the thing this page exists not to be. The order of the ranking is then this site’s standard six-pillar career score, re-weighted for the reasons set out above; the solo award is what gets a performer onto the page, not what determines her position on it.

TermWhat it meansHow it differs
Best Solo Sex Scene (AVN)A competitive AVN category for a scene with a single performer, run from the late 1990s until it was merged in 2015. Winners verified here from 2001 to 2014.Distinct from Best Solo Release, which is an award for a title rather than a performance, and which no performer on this page is ranked on.
Best Tease Performance (AVN)The second solo-side AVN category, running alongside Best Solo Sex Scene from at least 2001 until the 2015 merger.Judged on a different kind of solo work from Best Solo Sex Scene, which is why several ceremonies gave both to different performers — and why Asa Akira taking both in one year is the outlier it is.
Best Solo/Tease Performance (AVN)The merged category, first awarded at the 32nd ceremony in 2015 and last listed at the 36th in 2019.Neither the 37th nor the 38th ceremony page lists any solo or tease category, so 2019 is where the verified series ends rather than where our research stopped.
Solo site and solo model awardsSite- and business-level categories: AVN Best Solo Girl Website, the BAA Awards’ Best Solo Girl Site, the Transgender Erotica Awards’ Best Solo Model and Best Solo Site. These recognise a performer running her own operation rather than a single judged performance, and are treated here as a real but distinct qualification, stated as such on each entry.
A pictorial titlePenthouse Pet, Playboy Playmate, Hustler Honey — a magazine credit rather than a competitive award.Explicitly NOT an inclusion basis on this page. Our nude pornstars ranking and our most beautiful pornstars ranking are built on those titles, and duplicating them here would produce a third copy of the same list.
Context

How the industry judged solo work, and then stopped

2001–2007

Two separate categories, two separate skills

The earliest results this article could verify come from the 18th AVN Awards in 2001, where Best Solo Sex Scene went to Devinn Lane for In Style and Best Tease Performance went to Jessica Drake for Shayla’s Web. The two ran side by side for the next fourteen years and almost never went to the same person: Jenna Haze and Belladonna split them in 2003, Brooke Ballentyne and Michelle Wild in 2004, Penny Flame and Vicky Vette in 2005, Katja Kassin and Katsumi in 2006, Alana Evans and Amy Ried in 2007. Whatever the judges thought they were rewarding, they clearly thought it was two different things.

2008–2013

The category peaks, and the same names start recurring

Eva Angelina took Best Solo Sex Scene in 2008 and a share of Best Tease Performance in 2011 with Alexis Texas; Brianna Love won the tease award in 2008 and Jenna Haze took it again in 2009, six years after her solo win. Teagan Presley and Tori Black split the two at the 27th ceremony in 2010. Joanna Angel then won Best Solo Sex Scene twice, in 2011 for Rebel Girl and 2013 for Joanna Angel: Filthy Whore, both for her own label — the first sign that the category was rewarding performers who owned the production as well as appearing in it. Asa Akira took both awards at the 29th in 2012, the only performer in the whole series to do so.

2014–2019

Merged, then dropped

The 31st ceremony in 2014 was the last to run both: Maddy O’Reilly for solo, Anikka Albrite for tease. AVN merged them for the 32nd in 2015, and Albrite won the merged award too, shared with Dani Daniels and Karlie Montana for Anikka 2. Abigail Mac won it outright in 2016, Asa Akira for a third time in 2017, Angela White in 2018 and Kissa Sins in 2019. Then it disappeared: neither the 37th nor the 38th ceremony page lists a solo or tease category at all. No public statement explains the removal, and this page does not speculate about one — it simply notes that 2019 is the last verified year.

2005–2026

The solo business outlives the solo award

While the scene category was being merged and dropped, the site category grew. The BAA Awards gave Ariel Rebel Best Solo Girl Site in 2007 and AVN gave her Best Solo Girl Website of the Year in 2012; the Transgender Erotica Awards recognised Bailey Jay as Best Solo Model in 2010 and Venus Lux for Best Solo Site in 2014; AVN gave Vicky Vette Best Solo Girl Website in 2014 for a site she had already been running for eleven years, and Joanna Angel Best Porn Star Website four times between 2011 and 2015. The judged solo scene faded out of the ceremony; the self-run solo business, which the subscription-platform era then made ordinary, did not.

Cuts of the same data

Ranked by sub-category

Different cuts of the same verified data, for readers looking for something narrower than the full list.

Multiple wins in the AVN solo categories

The four with more than one verified AVN solo or tease result. Akira has three, including both awards at a single ceremony in 2012; Angel won the solo category twice for releases on her own label.

Won the category before 2010

The early era, when Best Solo Sex Scene and Best Tease Performance ran as two separate awards and almost always went to two different people.

Recognised for running the solo business, not just performing in it

Site- and model-level awards from AVN, the BAA Awards and the Transgender Erotica Awards. Vette has run the same site since 2003; Rebel built a decade of site-category wins across three bodies.

Ranked on a nomination rather than a win

The three thinnest qualifications on the page, stated as such on each entry rather than smoothed over. Del Rio’s 2004 nomination could not be cross-checked at all, because ceremony pages list winners and not nominees.

Weakest documentation overall

Ranked, with the limits on each entry. None of the four has a dedicated English Wikipedia biography — a common consequence of Wikipedia deprecating its adult-performer notability guideline in 2019, not a judgement on the careers.

Editorial process

Verified winners who are not ranked here

Eight further performers hold a confirmed win in the same AVN categories and are deliberately left off the ranking. None is left off because the award is in doubt — every one of these results is carried by the ceremony’s own page. They are named here so that anyone checking this list against the ceremony archive can see exactly where the difference comes from.

Confirmed winners with no performer record in our store

PF
Penny Flame — Best Solo Sex Scene, 22nd AVN Awards (2005)

Confirmed on the ceremony’s own page for Repo Girl. No record exists for her anywhere in this programme’s 1,074 performer files, and building one inside a concurrent research wave on the strength of a single ceremony line is exactly the thin-record padding our own standard warns against.

EA
Eva Angelina — Best Solo Sex Scene 2008, shared Best Tease Performance 2011

Two confirmed results, at the 25th and 28th ceremonies. Same reason: no performer record exists yet. On the strength of the award record alone she would rank high on this page, and she should be added to the store before the next edition.

MO
Maddy O’Reilly — Best Solo Sex Scene, 31st AVN Awards (2014)

Confirmed for Not The Wizard of Oz XXX. No record in the store.

BB
Brooke Ballentyne, Michelle Wild, Katsumi, Amy Ried, Brianna Love

All five are confirmed winners between 2004 and 2008 — Ballentyne and Wild split the two categories in 2004, Katsumi took the tease award in 2006, Ried in 2007 and Love in 2008. None has a record in this programme’s store, and each would need a full biography built from scratch to be ranked honestly rather than listed as a name attached to one line.

Confirmed winners already ranked elsewhere on this site

Angela White — Best Solo/Tease Performance, 35th AVN Awards (2018)

A confirmed win for Angela 3, and on award record she would place near the top of this page. She is left off to hold our roster-overlap cap: she is already ranked on our hardcore pornstars page alongside three performers who are ranked here, and adding a fourth shared name would put the two pages over the 20% limit that stops this site publishing the same list twice under different headings.

Tori Black — Best Tease Performance, 27th AVN Awards (2010)

Confirmed for Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy. Left off for the same overlap reason, and ranked on our teen pornstars page and the hardcore ranking already.

Belladonna — Best Tease Performance, 20th AVN Awards (2003)

Confirmed for The Fashionistas. Also held off this page by the hardcore-pornstars cap.

Alexis Texas and Remy LaCroix

Texas shared Best Tease Performance in 2011 with Eva Angelina; LaCroix shared it in 2013 with Lexi Belle. Both are shared credits rather than outright wins, and both performers are already ranked on pages that this one would breach the overlap cap against.

Dani Daniels and Karlie Montana

Both share the 2015 Best Solo/Tease Performance win with Anikka Albrite, who is ranked here. Ranking all three of a single three-way shared credit would have meant three of this page’s seventeen places going to one scene, and both are already ranked on our lesbian pornstars page, where the cap is already at its limit.

Jessica Drake — Best Tease Performance, 18th AVN Awards (2001)

The earliest confirmed tease winner and a genuine near-miss for this page. Held off by the overlap cap against a sibling page rather than by any weakness in the record.

Background

What the solo category was actually measuring

A category that runs for eighteen years and then vanishes without explanation is worth reading as an industry document rather than just a list of winners. Four things it shows.

The award followed the format, and the format was economics

A solo release costs one performer, one crew call and no coordination between schedules. It was the cheapest thing a studio could shoot in the DVD era and the easiest thing to sell as a bonus disc, which is a large part of why an award existed for it at all. When distribution moved to streaming and then to subscription platforms, the cheap-to-produce solo scene stopped being a studio product and became the performer’s own product — and the studio award for it stopped being listed.

It was two categories because it was two jobs

For fourteen years AVN ran Best Solo Sex Scene and Best Tease Performance as separate awards and gave them to different performers almost every year. That is a real editorial judgement embedded in an award list: the industry did not think a solo performance and a tease performance were the same skill. Merging them in 2015 was the point at which it stopped making that distinction, four years before it stopped making the award.

The people who won it twice mostly owned the release

Joanna Angel’s two solo wins were both for Burning Angel titles she produced. Vicky Vette’s later award was for the site she has run herself since 2003. Ariel Rebel, Venus Lux and Bobbi Eden are all recognised for their own operations rather than someone else’s release. The pattern across the whole series is that solo work rewarded self-ownership earlier than the rest of the industry did — which is why the camming and subscription economy absorbed this format so completely.

A tube-site tag is not this, and is not a source

Every content platform carries a category page under words close to this article’s keyword. Those tags are applied by whoever uploads or catalogues the video, describing one file, and they change nothing about the world outside that file. They are not a judged result, not published by any body with an archive, and not something this site will rank on — the same position our short hair pornstars page reaches for a different attribute, and for exactly the same reason.

Award claims in this category are unusually unreliable, in both directions

Checking twenty ceremony pages for this page produced two corrections that run the opposite way from the usual one. Kissa Sins’ 2019 win and Karlie Montana’s 2015 share are both listed on their own performer records as unverified Wikidata claims, and both are carried by the ceremonies themselves. Meanwhile a second 27th-ceremony win credited to Teagan Presley belongs, on that ceremony’s page, to three other performers. The lesson is not that Wikidata is wrong; it is that nothing in this category should be believed until the ceremony page has been opened.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who are the best pussy pornstars?

Nobody can answer that literally from a source, and this site does not try. What it ranks instead is the documented solo record — a win or a nomination in a named solo or tease category from AVN, XBIZ, the BAA Awards or the Transgender Erotica Awards, each checked against the ceremony’s own published list. Jenna Haze places first on that measure, Asa Akira second and Venus Lux third.

Why does this page rank award records instead of answering the question?

Because the question has no source behind it at any tier this site accepts. Our pornstar measurements page documents why body data circulating for this industry is marketing copy rather than fact, and this site publishes only three physical details about a performer — height, hair colour and eye colour. A list that answered this keyword literally would be one person’s opinion of a photograph presented as a ranking.

What was the AVN Best Solo Sex Scene award?

A competitive AVN category for a scene with a single performer, run from the late 1990s. Its verified winners include Devinn Lane in 2001, Jenna Haze in 2003, Katja Kassin in 2006, Alana Evans in 2007, Teagan Presley in 2010, Joanna Angel in 2011 and 2013, and Asa Akira in 2012. AVN merged it with Best Tease Performance in 2015.

Does AVN still give an award for solo performance?

Not as far as any ceremony page shows. The merged Best Solo/Tease Performance was last listed at the 36th ceremony in 2019, won by Kissa Sins. Neither the 37th nor the 38th ceremony page lists a solo or tease category, and no public statement explains the removal. One 2026 nomination in the category is recorded against Violet Myers on her own record.

Which performer has won the solo category most often?

Asa Akira, with three verified results: Best Solo Sex Scene and Best Tease Performance at the same 2012 ceremony, and the merged Best Solo/Tease Performance in 2017. Taking both awards in a single year is unique to her across the whole verified series.

Why are Angela White and Tori Black not on this list?

Both are confirmed winners — White took the merged award in 2018 and Black won Best Tease Performance in 2010 — and both are left off to keep this page under our 20% roster-overlap cap against pages they are already ranked on. Publishing the same performers under a second heading is how a site ends up with two pages competing for one audience, so the cap wins and the reason is stated rather than hidden.

Are the awards on this page verified against the ceremonies?

Every AVN result, yes — read directly off the relevant ceremony’s own page, twenty of them in total. The site- and model-level awards from the BAA Awards and the Transgender Erotica Awards could not be, because neither body publishes a winners archive we could check, and each of those entries says so.

Why are trans performers included on this page?

Because the inclusion rule is an award record and they hold one. Bailey Jay won Best Solo Model at the 2010 Transgender Erotica Awards and Venus Lux won Best Solo Site there in 2014. Leaving them off would only make sense on a page that was ranking bodies rather than records, which is precisely what this page is not.

Does this page describe how any performer looks?

No, nowhere. Every claim on it is about a documented professional result — an award, a nomination, a studio, a business — and this site publishes no appearance description of anyone on any page. Showing a portrait next to an entry does not change that: nobody is ranked, or judged, on how she looks.

What is the difference between this page and your nude pornstars ranking?

A different inclusion rule entirely. The nude pornstars page ranks documented photography and print credits, and the most beautiful pornstars page ranks magazine beauty titles such as Penthouse Pet and Playboy Playmate. This page deliberately does not use pictorial titles as a qualification, so that it argues something those two pages do not: who the industry itself judged, in competition, on solo work.

Methodology · The Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v3.0

How we ranked these performers

A 100-point composite built from six weighted pillars. Four are calculated directly from the performer records - award archives, credit counts, studio breadth and career timelines - by a script, so the same data always produces the same ranking. Two rest partly on editorial judgement, and where an individual score has been set by hand rather than computed, the profile says so and gives the reason. Everything here is auditable against the sources listed on each profile.

Scores are normalised within each article's own field rather than against an absolute ideal. That matters because award ecosystems are not comparable: a Japanese performer is scored against FANZA, AV Open and Sky PerfecTV results, an American one against AVN, XBIZ and XRCO. Ranking them on one absolute scale would be meaningless. A 74 is not a bad score - it is a placement inside a field of people who are already exceptional.

⚖︎

Weights for this category. Body of Work falls from 20% to 14% and Demand from 20% to 14%, while Craft rises from 15% to 20% and Influence from 10% to 16%. The reason is structural rather than editorial taste. Our Body of Work pillar reads credit volume and studio breadth, and a solo scene has one performer in it — several of the strongest records here belong to people who worked mainly for their own site rather than for fourteen buyers, so weighting breadth normally would rank the category’s own specialists off their own page. Influence reads the `businessVentures` field, which is where a self-run solo site, network or studio actually lives, and five of the seventeen names below built one. Craft rises because a solo performance is judged with nothing else in the frame to carry it.

The reason to do it that way rather than the obvious way is that the obvious way has no source behind it. This site publishes three physical facts about a performer — height, hair colour, eye colour — and our pornstar measurements page sets out at length why it publishes no others: the body data circulating for this industry is studio marketing copy that gets copied between sites until a fabricated figure reads as consensus. A ranking that answered this keyword literally would be that, with a rude word in the title. A ranking of who actually won the solo category is a different kind of claim entirely, and it is one anyone can check.

Seventeen performers clear that bar with a full record in this programme’s store. Eight further verified winners in the same category — including the 2018 winner, the 2010 tease winner and both 2013 winners — are named further down rather than ranked, either because no performer record exists for them yet or because ranking them here would have pushed this page over our roster-overlap cap against a page they already appear on. The category also produced a genuine correction along the way: two award claims that the shared records list as unverifiable turn out to be carried by the ceremonies themselves.

⚠︎

Before you publish this page: Every AVN award cited on this page was verified against that ceremony’s own published results, not against a performer biography, a Wikidata statement or any aggregator — a standard this category needs, because checking it produced three separate discrepancies between the records and the ceremonies in both directions. The site- and model-level awards from the BAA Awards and the Transgender Erotica Awards could not be verified the same way, because neither body publishes a winners archive, and every entry resting on one says so. Six of the seventeen performers have no dedicated English Wikipedia biography, which usually reflects Wikipedia deprecating its adult-performer notability guideline in 2019 rather than anything about the career; those records rest on Wikidata plus ceremony pages and are marked accordingly. Two entries rest on a nomination rather than a win, and one of those nominations could not be cross-checked at all, because ceremony pages list winners and not nominees. Nothing on this page is a claim about any performer’s body: this site publishes height, hair colour and eye colour and nothing else, for the reasons set out in full on our pornstar measurements page, and no sentence on this article describes anyone’s appearance.

Industry Recognition
26%
Computed from records

Awards, nominations and Hall of Fame status.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from the award arrays on each performer record. A Hall of Fame induction is the heaviest single signal, then a Performer of the Year win, then a category win, then any other competitive win, then a nomination at roughly a quarter weight. Lifetime Achievement honours are scored as ordinary wins rather than as Performer of the Year, because Hall of Fame induction already captures career recognition and double-counting it visibly distorted an earlier edition of our all-time list.

Awards are the only independently-audited quality signal this industry produces. They are voted by peers and press, their archives are public, and they are the one input a reader can check without taking our word for anything.

Body of Work
14%
Computed from records

Credit volume, studio breadth and niche-defining titles.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented credit count and the number of distinct studios a performer has worked with. Volume is capped logarithmically so that breadth outweighs raw output: a performer with 200 credits across fourteen studios scores above one with 900 for a single network, because fourteen independent buyers agreeing is a stronger signal than one buyer repeating.

This is the pillar that separates a long, in-demand career from a brief, high-visibility moment. Studio breadth is the anti-gaming control: any one studio can push any one performer, but fourteen of them agreeing is signal.

Audience Demand
14%
Blind-scored panel

Branded search interest where we have data; an editorial estimate where we do not.

How it is scored

This is the weakest pillar in the model and we would rather say so than dress it up. Where a performer's own name draws measurable search interest, that measurement is used directly. At present that covers a minority of the performers we have scored. For everyone else the score is seeded from the performer's own computed profile and adjusted editorially, and every seeded value is flagged for review before publication. Any profile whose Demand figure was set by hand rather than measured carries a disclosure saying so.

A best-of list that ignores what audiences actually watch is a critics' list pretending to be a popularity list. We measure demand separately so you can see when a performer is decorated but niche, or hugely popular and under-awarded - but we will not claim precision we do not have.

Craft & Screen Presence
20%
Blind-scored panel

Performance quality, range and screen presence. An editorial judgement.

How it is scored

There is no computable proxy for this in any public record, so it is a judgement made by the editorial desk against the acting-category award record, directorial praise on the record, and the range of production types a performer is cast in. It carries a deliberately capped weight for exactly that reason, and it is shown as its own line on every profile rather than folded invisibly into a total.

We would rather show you a bounded 15% judgement call, labelled as one, than launder taste through a number engineered to look objective.

Longevity & Consistency
10%
Computed from records

Years active, output consistency and successful career restarts.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented debut year to the most recent verified release, adjusted for gaps. A performer who left and returned to award-level work scores above one with the same raw year count and no interruption, because a successful restart is harder than continuity. Retired performers are measured to their documented end date, not to today.

This category rewards sustained careers by definition — the performers who define it have usually been working for fifteen years or more. Longevity is the pillar that makes that explicit rather than smuggling it in.

Influence & Crossover
16%
Blind-scored panel

Mainstream reach, business ownership, directing and advocacy.

How it is scored

Seeded by script from counts of documented mainstream credits and business ventures, then reviewed. That proxy works reasonably for modern careers and fails badly for historical ones, so for performers who worked before the award and media record our model reads, the figure is set by hand. Every such case is disclosed on the profile.

Some performers changed what the job is, not just how well it is done. Nina Hartley's sex-education work and Lisa Ann's crossover into sports broadcasting are career facts that a ranking which only counts scenes would completely miss.

The six-step process

1

Define the field

We assemble every performer with verified professional credits in the category and a checkable public record. Each article states how many names were considered and how many were cut.

2

Pull the records

For each performer we pull award-body archives, credit databases, encyclopaedia entries and verified official accounts. Anything we cannot source is recorded as unverified and left out of scoring rather than guessed. Aggregator and AI-generated biography sites are excluded outright - they recycle each other's errors, and they are the reason so much of the award data circulating for this industry is wrong.

3

Compute the record-derived pillars

Recognition, Body of Work and Longevity are calculated by script from the pulled records, normalised within that article's field. No human sets these numbers.

4

Set the judgement pillars

Craft is an editorial score. Demand uses measured audience search interest where we have it and an editorial estimate where we do not. Influence is seeded from documented crossover and business activity, then reviewed by hand.

5

Weight, rank, and sanity-check

Pillar weights are set per article and published on the page, because the question a category asks changes what should count. The desk then reviews the order for failures of common sense - most often performers whose careers predate the award record entirely.

6

Disclose every intervention

Where step 5 changes a score, the affected profile carries a note saying which pillars were altered and why. Where a pillar value is seeded rather than measured, the build reports it. We publish the corrections log rather than editing silently.

✕ Who we exclude, and why

  • Performers with credible unresolved allegations of coercion, assault or trafficking. A ranking is an endorsement of a professional record, and we will not extend one where consent is in question.
  • Anyone whose age at the time of any listed credit cannot be independently verified as 18 or over.
  • Performers who have publicly asked to be left off editorial rankings. Removal requests are honoured without argument and without requiring a reason.
  • Content, imagery or links sourced from leaks, hacks or non-consensual distribution — regardless of how widely circulated it is elsewhere.

△ Where this model is weak

  • Demand is our weakest inputWe have measured audience search interest for only a minority of the performers scored so far. The rest carry editorial estimates. This is the pillar most likely to move as our measurement of audience demand widens.
  • Award archives favour recent, American productionAVN, XBIZ and XRCO are US bodies founded in the 1980s and 1990s. Performers who worked earlier, or outside the United States, are structurally disadvantaged by the Recognition pillar. We correct for it by hand and disclose each correction, which is a fix but not a solution.
  • Craft is a judgement, and judgements varyOne informed desk scoring against the acting-award record is better than asserting an order with no reasoning, but it is still a view. It is capped at 15% and shown separately for that reason.
  • Pre-2000 credit counts are unreliableOlder releases are documented far less consistently than modern ones, which understates the output of long careers. The Longevity pillar partly offsets this; it does not fully correct it.
  • Normalisation means scores are not cross-comparableAn 88 on our Japanese ranking and an 88 on our MILF ranking are not the same achievement. Each score positions a performer within her own field, and comparing across articles is not a use these numbers support.

Corrections and update log

Factual corrections are made within 48 hours of verification and logged, dated and described at the foot of the article. Changes to the scoring model itself are logged the same way - when we found that Lifetime Achievement honours were being scored as Performer of the Year wins, we published the fix and the resulting rank changes rather than quietly re-running the build. Cadence: Full re-audit every six months; award pillars updated within 14 days of each major awards ceremony. Next full audit: 2027-02-20.

What changed in this edition

  • First edition. Seventeen performers ranked on a single inclusion rule: a documented win or nomination in a named solo or tease category from AVN, XBIZ, the BAA Awards or the Transgender Erotica Awards.
  • The complete AVN solo and tease winner series from 2001 to 2019 recovered from twenty ceremony pages and published in full — thirty results, none of them taken from a performer biography or an aggregator. The 37th and 38th ceremonies list no such category, which is where the series stops.
  • Two shared performer records corrected upward. Kissa Sins’ 2019 Best Solo/Tease Performance win and Karlie Montana’s share of the 2015 award are both listed as unconfirmed Wikidata claims on their own records; both are carried by the ceremony’s own page.
  • One claim flagged as not matching its source: a second 27th-ceremony win credited to Teagan Presley in Best All-Girl Three-Way Sex Scene is given by that ceremony’s page to three other performers. Her Best Solo Sex Scene win at the same ceremony is confirmed and is the only claim of hers this page uses.
  • Pictorial titles — Penthouse Pet, Playmate, Hustler Honey — are deliberately NOT used as an inclusion basis here, because our nude pornstars and most beautiful pornstars pages already rank on exactly that and a fourth version of it would be the same page with a different heading.
  • No description of any performer’s appearance anywhere on the page, and no ranking of anyone’s body — a portrait now shows for every one of the seventeen performers below.

edition

First edition. Seventeen performers ranked on a single inclusion rule — a documented win or nomination in a named solo or tease award category — with weights adjusted to Craft 20% and Influence 16% because credit volume and studio breadth measure the opposite of what a one-performer format rewards.

2026-09-06
sourcing

The complete AVN solo and tease winner series from 2001 to 2019 recovered from twenty ceremony pages, thirty results in total, and published in content/seed/pussy.mjs. No award on this page is taken from a performer biography, a Wikidata statement or an aggregator.

2026-09-06
correction

Kissa Sins’ 2019 Best Solo/Tease Performance win is listed on her own performer record as an unconfirmed Wikidata claim. It is carried by the 36th AVN Awards’ own page and is confirmed. Her record is not edited from here; the confirmation is logged for the record owner.

2026-09-06
correction

Karlie Montana’s 2015 Best Solo/Tease Performance credit is dismissed on her own performer record as a probable data-entry duplication. The 32nd AVN Awards’ own page shows the award really was shared three ways, with Anikka Albrite and Dani Daniels, for Anikka 2. The claim is genuine.

2026-09-06
note

A second 27th-ceremony win credited to Teagan Presley in Best All-Girl Three-Way Sex Scene is given by that ceremony’s page to Bree Olson, Tori Black and Poppy Morgan for The 8th Day. Not used on this page, which relies only on her confirmed Best Solo Sex Scene win at the same ceremony.

2026-09-06
exclusion

Eight confirmed winners left off the ranking and named instead: five because no performer record exists for them in this programme’s store, and Angela White, Tori Black, Belladonna, Alexis Texas, Remy LaCroix, Dani Daniels, Karlie Montana and Jessica Drake because ranking them would breach the 20% roster-overlap cap against pages they already appear on.

2026-09-07
edition

`noPhotos: true` removed at the site owner’s instruction. All seventeen ranked performers have a photograph on file, so a portrait now shows for every entry on this page. Every reader-facing sentence that previously argued from the absence of photographs — the header comment, the edition note, one FAQ answer and the closing data notice — was rewritten to make its actual point instead: no sentence on this page describes or judges anyone’s appearance. Roster, scores, weights and sourcing are unchanged.
