Pornstar Ranked

Dominican Pornstars: The Verified Names

Three names clear a verifiable standard for this search term, and that number is the actual finding rather than a disappointing shortfall.

A Wikidata query crossing the occupation "pornographic actor" with Dominican Republic citizenship or birthplace returned nine names in total; six of them carry either a documented birthplace in a different country or the exact sourcing gap this programme has flagged before — a bare, unreferenced database entry with no Wikipedia article in any language, the pattern a bulk-created spam cluster leaves behind. The three ranked below are the three that do not fit that pattern.

The short answer

Ricky Martinez ranks first among Dominican pornstars on our index. Born in Santo Domingo in 1978, he has worked as both a performer and a director since 2005, documented through Wikipedia articles in Thai and Egyptian Arabic — one of only two performers on this page confirmed through an actual encyclopedia entry rather than a bare database line. Lucía Ramírez ranks second and Aleera Flair ranks third.

Why Ricky ranks 1st

Martinez clears a bar the majority of names returned for this keyword do not: an actual Wikipedia article, however brief, exists for him in two languages (Thai and Egyptian Arabic), rather than only a bare, unreferenced Wikidata entry.

Born in Santo Domingo in 1978, he entered the industry in 2005 and is credited as both a performer and a director — a dual role that also distinguishes him from the majority of names checked for this page who could not clear the sourcing bar at all.

No award from any primary body has been confirmed against him, which is true of every performer on this list, since no documented Dominican award circuit exists.

The case against: Neither Wikipedia stub documenting him carries substantial biographical detail beyond his name, birthplace, birth year and dual performer/director role, and no English-language source, studio affiliation or specific credit count could be located for this record.

Why Lucía ranks 2nd

Ramírez’s case is historical rather than statistical: she is the earliest-working performer checked for this page by two decades, and the only one whose career predates any organised Dominican, American or Spanish adult-industry pipeline.

Working exclusively with Italian director Joe D’Amato across eight productions between 1979 and 1983, she starred in Sesso Nero (1980), which French Wikipedia describes as the first pornographic film released in Italian cinemas and a significant commercial success there.

She also took more substantial, non-explicit roles in Paradiso Blu and Orgasmo Nero the same year, and picked up a single mainstream horror-film credit in Rosso Sangue (1981) — a documented crossover none of the other two performers on this page has.

Born in Santo Domingo in 1959, she is the only performer on this list whose career sits entirely outside the two pipelines (American, Spanish) that later Dominican-born performers followed.

The case against: No award from any primary industry body has been confirmed against her, no English-language Wikipedia biography exists, and her full credit count beyond the eight named Joe D’Amato productions is not documented anywhere located for this record.

Why Aleera ranks 3rd

Flair, born Kira Kristine Harris in Santo Domingo in 1983, holds both Dominican and American citizenship, and this page ranks her on the same standard it applies to every other name here: where she was born, not which passport she has used since.

She entered the industry in 2007 and, like Ricky Martinez, is credited as both a performer and a director. Her Wikipedia presence spans two languages — Egyptian Arabic and Western Frisian — clearing the same encyclopedic-article bar the other two ranked performers on this page clear, and distinguishing her from several dual-citizenship names checked for this page and left off for lacking that.

The case against: No award from any primary industry body has been confirmed against her, no English-language source exists, and her specific studio affiliations, filmography count and directing credits are not itemised anywhere located for this record.

Why this page ranks exactly three performers

This page applies the same standard used throughout this programme: a Dominican Republic birthplace stated in cited biographical text, corroborated by at least one actual Wikipedia article rather than a bare database line. Three names checked for this page clear it. Six do not, for two different reasons.

Four names — Miosotis, Miss Raquel, Jasson Jerez and Karlo Karrera — carry a Wikidata occupation claim of "pornographic actor" and a Dominican Republic citizenship or birthplace claim, but zero references on that occupation claim and zero Wikipedia sitelinks in any language. That is the exact signature this programme has separately confirmed indicates a bulk-created data cluster rather than reliable sourcing, and none of the four is named in this article's roster or discussion as a result.

One further name, Natasha Nelson, was returned by the same query but documents a Panamanian, not Dominican, birthplace — evidently a query artefact rather than a genuine Dominican connection, and excluded on that basis alone.

TermWhat it meansHow it differs
Dominican-born, Wikipedia-verifiedBorn within the Dominican Republic, with at least one Wikipedia article in any language corroborating the claim. The standard this page's three ranked names clear. Not the same as a bare Wikidata occupation-plus-citizenship claim with no article and no reference — the pattern four excluded names share.
Bulk-created data clusterA set of Wikidata entries sharing a citizenship or occupation claim with zero supporting references and zero Wikipedia sitelinks — a pattern this programme has independently confirmed across several nationalities.Distinct from a genuinely thin but real record, like the three ranked here, which each carry an actual encyclopedia article however brief.
Context

Two eras, decades apart, with no continuity between them

1979–1983

Santo Domingo to Rome: an isolated early career

Lucía Ramírez, born in Santo Domingo in 1959, worked exclusively with Italian director Joe D'Amato across eight productions between 1979 and 1983, starring in Sesso Nero (1980) — described by French Wikipedia as the first pornographic film released in Italian cinemas — and taking a mainstream horror-film credit in Rosso Sangue (1981). No performer on this page's roster is documented as connected to her career in any way; the next ranked name here does not appear until more than two decades later.

2005–present

Two parallel, undocumented-award careers

Ricky Martinez, born in Santo Domingo in 1978, entered the industry in 2005 as both a performer and a director. Aleera Flair, born Kira Kristine Harris in Santo Domingo in 1983 and a dual Dominican-American citizen, followed in 2007 in the same dual role. Both are documented through brief Wikipedia stubs rather than a full biography, and neither holds a confirmed award from any primary industry body — the same structural gap that shapes this page's pillar weighting.

Editorial process

Six names checked and left off this page

This keyword's sourcing risk is a bulk-created data cluster rather than a flood of misidentified mainstream figures. Six names returned by the same research query were checked individually before being left off, for two distinct reasons.

Checked, and left off

NN
Natasha Nelson

Returned by the same Wikidata query used to build this page's roster, but her documented birthplace is Panama, not the Dominican Republic — a query artefact rather than a genuine Dominican connection.

Background

No documented Dominican award circuit, and a bulk-data problem this page had to filter out

No English-language source located for this page documents a Dominican Republic-specific pornography statute or a domestic adult-film award circuit. What the sourcing process for this page did surface, clearly, was a cluster of Wikidata entries built at scale rather than individually researched — the same pattern this programme has independently confirmed for several other nationalities.

No confirmed award for any performer on this page

Not one of the three ranked names holds a documented win or nomination from AVN, XBIZ or any comparable body. This page's pillar weighting is adjusted specifically to avoid penalising real, documented careers for lacking an infrastructure that plainly does not exist for this nationality.

A bulk-created data cluster, filtered out rather than published

Four of the nine names a straightforward occupation-plus-citizenship query returned — Miosotis, Miss Raquel, Jasson Jerez and Karlo Karrera — carry zero references on their occupation claim and zero Wikipedia sitelinks in any language. This programme's standing rules treat that combination as the signature of a bulk-created spam cluster rather than reliable sourcing, and none of the four is named anywhere in this article.

No continuity between the two eras represented here

Lucía Ramírez's 1979–1983 career in Italian cinema and the two twenty-first-century careers of Ricky Martinez and Aleera Flair share a birthplace and nothing else — no shared studio, no shared decade, no shared award body. This page states that plainly rather than implying a continuous "Dominican industry" that the record does not support.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best Dominican pornstar?

Ricky Martinez ranks first on our index. Born in Santo Domingo in 1978, he has worked as both a performer and a director since 2005, documented through Wikipedia articles in Thai and Egyptian Arabic. Lucía Ramírez ranks second and Aleera Flair ranks third.

Is there a Dominican porn industry?

No domestic studio system or award circuit is documented anywhere in the sourcing available for this page. All three performers ranked here built their careers in other countries' industries: Lucía Ramírez in 1980s Italy, and Ricky Martinez and Aleera Flair in the modern, internationally distributed adult-film market.

Why does this page only rank three performers?

Because three is what a verified standard produced. A Wikidata query for the occupation and nationality returned nine names; six failed either a birthplace check (one performer's documented birthplace is Panama, not the Dominican Republic) or a sourcing check (four names carry zero references and zero Wikipedia sitelinks, a known bulk-data-cluster pattern). Padding this page to look larger would misrepresent the record.

Has any Dominican-born performer won an AVN or XBIZ award?

Not according to any source located for this page. None of the three ranked performers, nor any of the six names checked and excluded, carries a confirmed award from AVN, XBIZ or a comparable body.

Who is Miosotis, and why isn't she on this list?

A name returned by the same research query used to build this page's roster, documented on Wikidata as a Dominican pornographic actress. She is not named or ranked here because her Wikidata entry carries zero references on that occupation claim and zero Wikipedia sitelinks in any language, the pattern this programme treats as insufficiently sourced for inclusion.

What was the first pornographic film shown in Italian cinemas?

Sesso Nero (1980), starring Lucía Ramírez and directed by Joe D'Amato, is described by French Wikipedia as holding that distinction. It became a significant commercial success in Italy at the time.

Are Ricky Martinez and Aleera Flair related or connected?

No connection between the two is documented anywhere located for this page beyond a shared birthplace (Santo Domingo), overlapping active years (2005–present and 2007–present respectively), and a shared performer/director dual role.

Is Aleera Flair Dominican or American?

Both. She holds dual Dominican and American citizenship, per Wikidata, but was born in Santo Domingo in 1983, which is the standard this page ranks by.

Why is Recognition weighted so low on this page?

Because none of the three performers ranked here holds a confirmed award from any primary industry body — a structural fact about a field with no organised Dominican award circuit. Weighting Recognition normally would penalise real, documented careers for lacking an infrastructure that does not exist for this nationality.

How often is this list updated?

A full re-audit every six months, plus an award-pillar update within fourteen days of each major ceremony, if any of these three performers is ever nominated for one. Every change is logged with a date and a reason at the foot of this page.

Methodology · The Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v3.0

How we ranked these performers

A 100-point composite built from six weighted pillars. Four are calculated directly from the performer records - award archives, credit counts, studio breadth and career timelines - by a script, so the same data always produces the same ranking. Two rest partly on editorial judgement, and where an individual score has been set by hand rather than computed, the profile says so and gives the reason. Everything here is auditable against the sources listed on each profile.

Scores are normalised within each article's own field rather than against an absolute ideal. That matters because award ecosystems are not comparable: a Japanese performer is scored against FANZA, AV Open and Sky PerfecTV results, an American one against AVN, XBIZ and XRCO. Ranking them on one absolute scale would be meaningless. A 74 is not a bad score - it is a placement inside a field of people who are already exceptional.

⚖︎

Weights for this category. Recognition drops to 8% from our 25% default because none of the three performers ranked here holds a confirmed award from any primary industry body — a structural fact about a field with no organised Dominican award circuit, not a shortfall in any individual case. Body of Work rises to 26% and Longevity to 20% instead, because a documented, multi-year filmography with named, verifiable titles — Lucía Ramírez’s eight Joe D’Amato-directed productions across four years, Ricky Martinez’s two-decade performing-and-directing career, Aleera Flair’s parallel run since 2007 — is the only signal available to compare these three careers against each other honestly.

No Dominican domestic adult-film industry is documented anywhere in the sourcing available for this page, and none of the three performers ranked here holds a confirmed award from any primary industry body — AVN, XBIZ or otherwise. That is a real structural fact about this field, not a reason to inflate the roster or invent recognition that was never documented. Two of the three, Ricky Martinez and Aleera Flair, are additionally credited as directors alongside performing, which this page treats as a documented career fact rather than an award substitute.

The earliest of the three, Lucía Ramírez, worked in a different era and a different country's industry entirely: Italy's early-1980s sexploitation-film scene under director Joe D'Amato, more than two decades before either of the other two performers on this page began working. That gap is stated directly, because pretending these three careers form a single continuous "Dominican industry" would misrepresent what the record actually shows.

⚠︎

Before you publish this page: Documentation is thin across all three performers on this page. Lucía Ramírez rests on French and Italian Wikipedia stubs with no English-language biography; Ricky Martinez and Aleera Flair rest on brief Wikipedia articles in Thai/Egyptian Arabic and Egyptian Arabic/Western Frisian respectively, also with no English-language source. No award from any primary industry body could be confirmed for any of the three. Six further names returned by the same research query were checked and excluded, four for a bulk-created sourcing pattern and one for a documented birthplace in a different country. Verify any specific fact here before publishing publicly.

Industry Recognition
8%
Computed from records

Awards, nominations and Hall of Fame status.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from the award arrays on each performer record. A Hall of Fame induction is the heaviest single signal, then a Performer of the Year win, then a category win, then any other competitive win, then a nomination at roughly a quarter weight. Lifetime Achievement honours are scored as ordinary wins rather than as Performer of the Year, because Hall of Fame induction already captures career recognition and double-counting it visibly distorted an earlier edition of our all-time list.

Awards are the only independently-audited quality signal this industry produces. They are voted by peers and press, their archives are public, and they are the one input a reader can check without taking our word for anything.

Body of Work
26%
Computed from records

Credit volume, studio breadth and niche-defining titles.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented credit count and the number of distinct studios a performer has worked with. Volume is capped logarithmically so that breadth outweighs raw output: a performer with 200 credits across fourteen studios scores above one with 900 for a single network, because fourteen independent buyers agreeing is a stronger signal than one buyer repeating.

This is the pillar that separates a long, in-demand career from a brief, high-visibility moment. Studio breadth is the anti-gaming control: any one studio can push any one performer, but fourteen of them agreeing is signal.

Audience Demand
16%
Blind-scored panel

Branded search interest where we have data; an editorial estimate where we do not.

How it is scored

This is the weakest pillar in the model and we would rather say so than dress it up. Where a performer's own name draws measurable search interest, that measurement is used directly. At present that covers a minority of the performers we have scored. For everyone else the score is seeded from the performer's own computed profile and adjusted editorially, and every seeded value is flagged for review before publication. Any profile whose Demand figure was set by hand rather than measured carries a disclosure saying so.

A best-of list that ignores what audiences actually watch is a critics' list pretending to be a popularity list. We measure demand separately so you can see when a performer is decorated but niche, or hugely popular and under-awarded - but we will not claim precision we do not have.

Craft & Screen Presence
18%
Blind-scored panel

Performance quality, range and screen presence. An editorial judgement.

How it is scored

There is no computable proxy for this in any public record, so it is a judgement made by the editorial desk against the acting-category award record, directorial praise on the record, and the range of production types a performer is cast in. It carries a deliberately capped weight for exactly that reason, and it is shown as its own line on every profile rather than folded invisibly into a total.

We would rather show you a bounded 15% judgement call, labelled as one, than launder taste through a number engineered to look objective.

Longevity & Consistency
20%
Computed from records

Years active, output consistency and successful career restarts.

How it is scored

Calculated by script from documented debut year to the most recent verified release, adjusted for gaps. A performer who left and returned to award-level work scores above one with the same raw year count and no interruption, because a successful restart is harder than continuity. Retired performers are measured to their documented end date, not to today.

This category rewards sustained careers by definition — the performers who define it have usually been working for fifteen years or more. Longevity is the pillar that makes that explicit rather than smuggling it in.

Influence & Crossover
12%
Blind-scored panel

Mainstream reach, business ownership, directing and advocacy.

How it is scored

Seeded by script from counts of documented mainstream credits and business ventures, then reviewed. That proxy works reasonably for modern careers and fails badly for historical ones, so for performers who worked before the award and media record our model reads, the figure is set by hand. Every such case is disclosed on the profile.

Some performers changed what the job is, not just how well it is done. Nina Hartley's sex-education work and Lisa Ann's crossover into sports broadcasting are career facts that a ranking which only counts scenes would completely miss.

The six-step process

1

Define the field

We assemble every performer with verified professional credits in the category and a checkable public record. Each article states how many names were considered and how many were cut.

2

Pull the records

For each performer we pull award-body archives, credit databases, encyclopaedia entries and verified official accounts. Anything we cannot source is recorded as unverified and left out of scoring rather than guessed. Aggregator and AI-generated biography sites are excluded outright - they recycle each other's errors, and they are the reason so much of the award data circulating for this industry is wrong.

3

Compute the record-derived pillars

Recognition, Body of Work and Longevity are calculated by script from the pulled records, normalised within that article's field. No human sets these numbers.

4

Set the judgement pillars

Craft is an editorial score. Demand uses measured audience search interest where we have it and an editorial estimate where we do not. Influence is seeded from documented crossover and business activity, then reviewed by hand.

5

Weight, rank, and sanity-check

Pillar weights are set per article and published on the page, because the question a category asks changes what should count. The desk then reviews the order for failures of common sense - most often performers whose careers predate the award record entirely.

6

Disclose every intervention

Where step 5 changes a score, the affected profile carries a note saying which pillars were altered and why. Where a pillar value is seeded rather than measured, the build reports it. We publish the corrections log rather than editing silently.

✕ Who we exclude, and why

  • Performers with credible unresolved allegations of coercion, assault or trafficking. A ranking is an endorsement of a professional record, and we will not extend one where consent is in question.
  • Anyone whose age at the time of any listed credit cannot be independently verified as 18 or over.
  • Performers who have publicly asked to be left off editorial rankings. Removal requests are honoured without argument and without requiring a reason.
  • Content, imagery or links sourced from leaks, hacks or non-consensual distribution — regardless of how widely circulated it is elsewhere.

△ Where this model is weak

  • Demand is our weakest inputWe have measured audience search interest for only a minority of the performers scored so far. The rest carry editorial estimates. This is the pillar most likely to move as our measurement of audience demand widens.
  • Award archives favour recent, American productionAVN, XBIZ and XRCO are US bodies founded in the 1980s and 1990s. Performers who worked earlier, or outside the United States, are structurally disadvantaged by the Recognition pillar. We correct for it by hand and disclose each correction, which is a fix but not a solution.
  • Craft is a judgement, and judgements varyOne informed desk scoring against the acting-award record is better than asserting an order with no reasoning, but it is still a view. It is capped at 15% and shown separately for that reason.
  • Pre-2000 credit counts are unreliableOlder releases are documented far less consistently than modern ones, which understates the output of long careers. The Longevity pillar partly offsets this; it does not fully correct it.
  • Normalisation means scores are not cross-comparableAn 88 on our Japanese ranking and an 88 on our MILF ranking are not the same achievement. Each score positions a performer within her own field, and comparing across articles is not a use these numbers support.
Transparency

Corrections and update log

Factual corrections are made within 48 hours of verification and logged, dated and described at the foot of the article. Changes to the scoring model itself are logged the same way - when we found that Lifetime Achievement honours were being scored as Performer of the Year wins, we published the fix and the resulting rank changes rather than quietly re-running the build. Cadence: Full re-audit every six months; award pillars updated within 14 days of each major awards ceremony. Next full audit: 2027-02-20.

  • Recognition weighted to 8% and Body of Work/Longevity raised, reflecting a field with no confirmed award from any body for any of the three ranked performers.
