George Payne
Career
Payne began as a swimsuit model featured in Physique Pictorial in the mid-1960s and appeared on the cover of The Advocate in 1973, the same year he debuted in hardcore film with The Back Row. He worked steadily through the Golden Age and into the shot-on-video years, appearing in more than 180 films before retiring from hardcore performing in 1988, and drew multiple XRCO Award nominations in 1985. The XRCO Hall of Fame inducted him in 1999. He returned to acting decades later in an unexpected place: a mainstream television debut in Too Old to Die Young (2019), at age 75.
