Career

Born Michelle Marie Schei, Megan Leigh left home at 14 and was working at a Guam massage parlour by 16, before entering adult film in 1982 under a series of stage names including Caroline Chambers and Heather Newman. She worked steadily for eight years, one of the longer runs of the era, without a documented award from any major body. She died by suicide in 1990, aged 26.
