Maya Gold
Career
Gold entered adult film in 2002 and won the Venus Award for Best New Starlet (Hungary) in 2003. She stopped shooting new material in early 2004, citing a serious relationship and health concerns, and formally retired in late 2005, the same year she published a Hungarian-language autobiography, Maya Gold: Az erotika üdvöskéje ("Maya Gold: The mascot of Erotica"). She later relocated to Italy and became a mother in 2014.
Signature: One of the few performers here whose retirement, and the reasons for it, are documented in her own published memoir rather than reconstructed from press coverage.
