Jon Dough
Career
Born Chester Joseph Anuszak, Jon Dough debuted in 1985 and built one of the most decorated male performing careers of the pre-2000 era: back-to-back AVN and XRCO acting wins through the early-to-mid 1990s, a Male Performer of the Year title from both bodies within a year of each other (XRCO 1994, AVN 1995), and induction into both Halls of Fame. He appeared in Louis Theroux’s BBC documentary Weird Weekends and was a well-known figure among his peers. He died by suicide in 2006, aged 43.
Signature: One of only a handful of male performers to hold Male Performer of the Year from both AVN and XRCO, on top of double Hall of Fame induction — a competitive record matched by very few careers of any length in this category.
