Yurizan Beltran

Career

Beltran began as a Hooters waitress in 2003 before moving into modelling and, from 2005, adult film, building a twelve-year career that drew four award nominations across AVN and NightMoves without converting one into a win. She appeared in the mainstream features Werewolf in a Women’s Prison (2006) and Rice on White (2017) and was featured in Hustler, Playboy, Penthouse and Lowrider. She died in December 2017; the Los Angeles County coroner attributed her death to bronchopneumonia caused by an opioid overdose, one of several deaths across that winter that drew wider attention to performer welfare.

Signature: Twelve years and four nominations without a competitive win, but the longest sustained career of any performer on this list who died during the 2017–2018 winter.
