Karin Schubert
Career
Karin Schubert built a mainstream film career from 1970, appearing in Spaghetti Westerns and adventure films with established directors through the decade. As demand for her mainstream work declined in the mid-1980s, and with her marriage over and her son in need of drug treatment, she moved into hardcore adult film in 1985 at age 40, appearing in roughly two dozen titles before leaving the industry in 1994. No award from a recognised adult-industry body is documented against her name.
Signature: A documented, financially motivated late-career pivot from mainstream European cinema into adult film — one of the more unusual and better-sourced biographies on this list, stated here without added drama.
