Eric Edwards
Career
Born Robert Everett, Edwards graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1967 and worked in mainstream theatre before entering adult film in 1969. Wikipedia describes him as the only performer to appear on screen in every decade from the 1960s through the 2000s. He won XRCO Best Actor / Male Performer of the Year in 1984 and AVN Best Actor honours the two years after, and also directed the feature Mirage. He was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2005, was reported cancer-free by 2020, and received a dementia diagnosis in 2023.
Signature: Wikipedia credits him as the only performer to appear in adult films across every decade from the 1960s through the 2000s — a five-decade span nobody else on this list matches.
