Rob Zicari

Career

Zicari founded Extreme Video in the mid-1990s and co-founded Extreme Associates in 1998, and also ran the Xtreme Pro Wrestling promotion. He and his then-wife Janet Romano were indicted in 2003 in the Western District of Pennsylvania for distributing obscene material by mail and online, in a prosecution that became the best-known American obscenity case of its decade. Both pleaded guilty in March 2009 to a single count of conspiracy, and on 1 July 2009 each received one year and one day in prison with two years of supervised release. He served his sentence at a federal facility in Texas.
