Kendra Sunderland
Career
Sunderland started posting to the webcam site MyFreeCams in 2014, at eighteen. In early 2015 a video she recorded inside the Oregon State University library went viral; she was charged with public indecency, pleaded guilty, paid a $1,000 fine, and was expelled from the university and banned from campus. She turned the notoriety into a film career, taking XBIZ Web Star of the Year in 2016 and an AVN scene award in 2017, signed with Brazzers in 2020 and then with Vixen Media Group until 2023, and now works independently.
Signature: The purest example of the platform route into this category: no agency, no studio, an audience built on a webcam site before anyone in the industry had heard of her.
