Klaudia Koronel
Career
Born Milfe Dacula in Zamboanga del Sur, Koronel debuted in film with Kesong Puti in 1997 at 21, then took lead roles in the Seiko Films erotic productions Pisil (1998) and Anakan Mo Ako (1999). Her most significant credit is Live Show (2000), a film centred on Manila's live sex-show trade that drew controversy and MTRCB scrutiny on release; her performance earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2001 Gawad Urian Awards, one of Philippine cinema's most respected critics' prizes. She continued in television, including the GMA series Kiss Muna (2000–2001), through to a final film role in Estasyon in 2009, after which she pursued a computer-science education and business ventures outside entertainment.
Signature: The only performer in this companion roster with a mainstream awards-body nomination for a film about the sex trade itself rather than for work in a different genre entirely.
