Career
Born Sheryn Santos Lascano in the Philippines, Star relocated to California before age two and was raised and schooled in Sacramento. She began with print and automobile modelling before entering adult film in 1998 at 19, working as a feature dancer alongside her filming career and appearing in more than 300 titles over an eighteen-year run. She was featured in Hustler, Club and The Girls of Penthouse, appeared in the 2009 blaxploitation feature Black Dynamite, had recurring television spots on Night Calls, Zane's Sex Chronicles and Co-Ed Confidential, and appeared in a 2009 Baby Bash music video. In 2017 the AVN Hall of Fame inducted her, confirmed on the Hall's own published roster — the only Hall of Fame credential anywhere in this ranked group.
