Julie Strain
Career
Strain was Penthouse’s Pet of the Month in June 1991 and Pet of the Year for 1993, and parlayed the profile into roughly a hundred film credits, mostly for budget action and horror producers, earning the nickname "Queen of the B’s." She joined Andy Sidaris’s "Bullets, Bombs and Babes" ensemble late in its run, starring in Fit to Kill (1993), Day of the Warrior (1996) and L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach (1998). She provided voice work for the animated feature Heavy Metal 2000 and was married to comic-book artist Kevin Eastman, co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, from 2000 until her death in 2021.
Signature: One of only two performers — alongside Cynthia Brimhall — who appear across both the Playboy/Penthouse pipeline and Andy Sidaris’s ensemble, the two structures that defined the era.
