Brad Armstrong
Career
Born Rod Hopkins, Armstrong worked as a male stripper in Canada from age seventeen for a decade before entering adult film in 1990. He built a long career under contract with Wicked Pictures directing narrative features — Euphoria, Falling From Grace, The Collector, Manhunters and Underworld among them — that earned him the industry nicknames "The King of Porn" and "The Spielberg of Skin Directors" and, across AVN, XRCO, XBIZ and NightMoves, 21 AVN wins alone plus Hall of Fame inductions from both AVN and XRCO. He was married to Jessica Drake, Wicked’s longest-serving contract star, from 2006 to 2021, directing her in many of the studio’s features across that period.
