Nadia Ali
Career
Raised Muslim in New Jersey by a Pakistani family, Ali worked as an eyebrow threader in San Francisco and then as a dancer before entering the adult industry in 2015. She performed in hijab, which is what generated most of the coverage, and left the business in 2016 after her mother found out. She received online death threats, was reported to have been barred from Pakistan, and cancelled scheduled appearances after the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando in June 2016. She opened a beauty bar in Los Angeles in 2018 and works as a cosmetologist. She speaks English, Hindi, Urdu and Pahadi.
Signature: The most extensively interviewed South Asian performer in the American industry, and the only one whose public argument was specifically about religion.

- Year of birth given as 1990 or 1991 by English Wikipedia; Wikidata gives 22 July 1991
- Birthplace is not asserted at all. English Wikipedia records only that she was raised in New Jersey; the Wikidata value "Trenton" is imported from the Persian Wikipedia rather than referenced to a source; and the claim that she was born in Pakistan is supported by nothing on file. It was asserted in earlier editions of our Indian and Punjabi rankings and has since been withdrawn on both. Corrected 2026-08-22.
- Pakistani descent is documented (English Wikipedia describes her as Pakistani-American and raised by a Pakistani family); Pakistani birth or citizenship is not
- The reported ban on her entering Pakistan is not confirmed by any government source
