Sophie Dee
Career
Born Kirsty Hill in Llanelli, Sophie Dee is a native Welsh speaker who built a fifteen-year career from 2005 to 2020 before stepping back from performing. She went on to run her own production company, Sophie Dee Ventures, and built one of the largest social-media followings of any performer in this category. Her AVN Hall of Fame induction came in 2025, five years after she stopped performing regularly — recognition of a completed body of work rather than a current one. That induction is independently confirmed on Wikipedia’s own list of AVN Hall of Fame members, in the Video Branch, under 2025.
Signature: The most recent AVN Hall of Fame induction of any British-born performer, and one of very few Welsh names with a documented adult-film record at all.
Index score — The Pornstar Ranked Performer Index v3.0
Scores are normalised within a single ranking's field, so this breakdown is Sophie Dee's placement inside The Best Red Hair Pornstars, Ranked — the largest field she appears in. Her rank on each of the other 8 rankings below was computed against that ranking's own field and is not the same measurement.
