Career

Venus Lux built a run of businesses in quick succession: a three-year exclusive distribution deal with Pulse Distribution signed in December 2014, TransGlobal Magazine launched the following October, the TS Fetishes website and the Syren Network both launched in 2016, and her own studio, Venus Lux Entertainment. She published Venus Lux Diaries, a book compiled from her columns, in March 2015. Across the same period she won Transsexual Performer of the Year at both AVN (2015, 2016) and XBIZ (2014, 2015) — the top annual title in that category at both bodies in successive years — plus AVN’s Best Transsexual Sex Scene in 2015 and three category wins in 2014 from the award body now known as the Transgender Erotica Awards, which was still running under its original name that year. She appeared on Brody Stevens: Enjoy It! (2012), VICE (2014) and BuzzFeed (2016), and featured in the documentary After Porn Ends 2.
