Sophie Anderson
Career
Born Karen Anne Cook in Bristol, Sophie Anderson worked for Fake Taxi, Reality Kings and Evil Angel among others from 2017, and gained wide attention in October 2018 as one half of "The Cock Destroyers" alongside Rebecca More, a viral moment that reached well beyond the industry and inspired a tribute segment on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. She released a single, "Driving for Dick", in 2019, judged the reality series Slag Wars: The Next Destroyer in 2020, and was a team captain on the Canadian sex-education quiz show Fucking Smart from 2022. She died on 30 November 2023. No award from a recognised industry body is documented against her name.
Signature: A viral mainstream-crossover moment — a music single, a judging role on two different television formats, and a tribute segment on a national drag competition — built without a single competitive industry award.
