Brittany O’Connell
Career
O’Connell debuted in 1992, retired at the end of the decade, and spent the interval running her own businesses rather than waiting out a hiatus: she produced tapes through Brittany O’Connell Productions, launched her own subscription site in November 1997 and ran it until 2010, moved to Phoenix in 2001, performed cam shows, and had new breast implants — a sequence her own Wikipedia article records as a single continuous account of rebuilding a career on her own terms. She returned to film in July 2008 and picked up four award nominations across XRCO, XBIZ and AVN in the two years that followed.
Signature: Performer-owned production and a performer-owned subscription site running from 1997, more than a decade before the industry made that the norm.
