Seka
Career
Seka emerged in the late 1970s and became the top glamour star of the early-1980s boom, marketed as the Platinum Princess. She moved into directing and writing by the mid-1980s and became a visible advocate for testing and safety standards during the AIDS crisis. Off screen she operated a chain of adult retail stores in Virginia and hosted a syndicated radio talk show.
Signature: Her talk-show appearances in the early 1980s were among the first times an adult performer was treated as an ordinary guest on mainstream television.
