Career
St. Cloud competed as an amateur bodybuilder in NPC events from 1992 to 1999, winning the light heavyweight class and the overall title at the 1999 NPC USA Championships to earn his professional card. As a professional he competed in IFBB shows through 2006, reaching his career-best placing of 12th at the 2003 Mr. Olympia — one of roughly a dozen men in the world that year ranked that high in the sport’s marquee competition. Wikipedia’s own article on the 2003 Mr. Olympia independently confirms the exact placing, listing his judges’ round scores (58, 64, 60, 35) for a total of 217 points and a $4,000 prize. He performed in adult film under the name Hot Rod and maintained the website Strippers in the Hood; Wikipedia’s own categorisation lists him directly as “an American retired professional bodybuilder and pornographic actor.”
