Priya Anjali Rai

Career

Born in New Delhi and adopted as a toddler by American parents, she was raised in Minneapolis and studied marketing at Arizona State University. She worked as a dancer for several years before entering adult film in her late twenties. She shared the 2009 AVN Award for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene as part of the ensemble cast of Digital Playground’s Cheerleaders, and also presented at that ceremony. She retired from performing in June 2013.

Signature: For most of her active years she was the highest-profile South Asian performer working in American adult film, and the only one of Indian birth to hold a competitive AVN Award.
