Career
Shower was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for May 1985 and Playmate of the Year for 1986, and moved into a run of independently produced action-adventure and erotic-thriller titles through the following decade. Away from that cycle she held a 46-episode recurring role as Janice Harrison on the daytime drama Santa Barbara (1985–1986), and made guest appearances on Knight Rider, Three’s Company and CHiPs.
Signature: A Playmate of the Year title paired with a substantial daytime-soap role — a mainstream credit most of her Playboy contemporaries in this genre did not hold.
