Jin Do-hui
Career
Jin Do-hui entered the film industry through an agency in 1993 after placing in that year’s Expo Beauty Competition, initially performing under the stage name Yu Da-young. In 1996 she signed a ten-year exclusive contract with the studio Han Cinema Town, reported at a ten-million-won deposit and monthly payments of 1.5 million won. Her filmography through the 1990s sits within Korea’s domestic erotic-film genre, and she crossed briefly into mainstream television with a role in the 1998 SBS drama The Tough Guy.
Signature: One of the few names in this genre with a documented studio contract on the record — a ten-year exclusive deal — plus a mainstream television credit the same decade.
