Erika Bella
Career
Born Erika Rakoscy in Budapest, she was discovered by director Christophe Clark and launched via Private Media Group in 1995, going on to work with directors including Mario Salieri, Joe D'Amato and Marc Dorcel before relocating to the United States. She used a series of stage names early in her career — Rouge, Lamour and Stone in succession, and later Angelika, Enrica Martelli, Erika Red and Melissa Hart — before settling on Erika Bella. She shared the Best Group Sex Scene, Video award at the 13th AVN Awards (1996) for World Sex Tour, Vol. 1, and is regarded as one of the Hungarian performers who contributed to the Italian adult-film industry's development in the mid-1990s.
Signature: A shared 1996 AVN Award for Best Group Sex Scene puts her among the very few performers of this Italian-market generation with a documented American industry trophy, not just a European one.
