Randy Spears

Career

Spears entered adult film in 1987, citing the 1988 Writers Guild strike as the catalyst after aspiring to mainstream acting; he had earlier taken small roles in Trading Places and Blow Out. He built a long career noted for comic range, winning multiple AVN and XRCO Best Actor awards between 1989 and 2007, and retired from performing in 2011. He announced a conversion to Christianity in 2015 and has worked on a memoir.

Signature: Hired for comic timing in an industry that rarely casts for it, sustaining a two-decade career largely on that reputation.
