Nia
Career
Born in Taiwan to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father from Hokkaido, and raised partly in Taiwan as a child, she debuted in the Japanese adult industry on 13 May 2021 under the name Itō Meru with MOODYZ. She won a Sky PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Award for "Valuable Actress" in her debut year and the "Most Intelligent Actress" title the following March. In November 2022 she moved to NAX Promotion and rebranded as Nia, and took a theatrical film role in 花腐し (2023). As of the most recent published record, her parents continue to live in Taiwan.
Signature: One of a small number of working JAV performers whose Taiwan–Japan parentage is stated directly, rather than inferred, on her own reference biography — born in Taiwan itself, not merely of distant Taiwanese ancestry.
