Meng Ruo-yu
Career
Born in Hualien City on 6 January 1992, of Amis indigenous descent. She entered the industry in February 2021 after a friend introduced her to the work. Her stage name came directly from the script of her first film, supplied by the production company, and she kept it rather than choosing her own. Her work has been released through TWAV, Tianmei, Mithao and LOVE6 Royal Chinese, and in 2025 she appeared in an interactive adult video game. In an interview published by NOWnews on 8 April 2022 she said she had set herself a five-year limit on the career, and described pausing production in early 2022 after a drop in work and a short hospitalisation, moving to livestreaming instead. In April 2022 the AV director Piao Zhiyu named her as the Taiwanese performer with the highest public profile.
Signature: The only performer on this page whose entire documented career runs through Chinese-language production houses rather than the Japanese studio system, which is also why almost none of it can be audited.
