Draghixa
Career
Draghixa Laurent, credited mononymously as Draghixa, was born in Split and moved to France with her family at age two. After training as a hairdresser and working as a stripper, she debuted in adult film in 1993 in the third volume of the Offertes à tout series. Her highest-profile role came in Marc Dorcel's Le Parfum de Mathilde (1994), based on a screenplay by horror director Jean Rollin, for which she won the Hot d'Or for Best Actress in 1995. She retired from adult film within a few months of the award. She subsequently pursued a music career under the stage name Monika Dombrowski, releasing the single "Dream" in 1996 and appearing on a 1997 track by French DJ Lapsus, and appeared in the music video for the rock group Silmarils' "Cours vite" alongside fellow performer Julia Channel.
Signature: A Hot d'Or Best Actress win for her defining role, immediately followed by retirement and a pivot to a pop-music alter ego.

Sources and verification1 source
- Exact Hot d'Or award category name varies by source ('Best Actress' vs. 'Best European Actress'); English Wikipedia's sourced text simply says 'Hot d'Or for best actress.'
- A search-engine summary claimed Le Parfum de Mathilde also won 'Best European Screenplay' with the same actress credited for both awards — implausible for a screenplay category, and not corroborated by any source consulted, so omitted entirely.
