Career
Born Alexandre Boisvert in Toronto, Voodoo performed from 1999 to 2016 and won AVN’s Unsung Male Performer of the Year at the 31st AVN Awards in 2014, a category built specifically to recognise reliable, in-demand performers who do not draw the marquee attention of the annual Male Performer of the Year race. He was married to fellow performer Nicole Sheridan from 2000 to 2010, and holds dual Canadian and American citizenship.
Signature: An AVN award built specifically to recognise dependable, high-volume work rather than marquee visibility — an accurate description of a seventeen-year career that produced no single breakout title.
