Naomi Russell

Career

Wikidata gives a birth date of 25 September 1983 and a working period of 2005 to 2012, so a debut at twenty-one or twenty-two. She won AVN Best New Starlet at the 24th ceremony in January 2007 — the same night Hillary Scott took Female Performer of the Year — on a body of work barely two years old, with three further nominations across tease, all-girl and coupling categories at the same ceremony. The ceremony record lists her simply as "Naomi", which is one reason her record is harder to trace than it should be.

Signature: A newcomer title plus three nominations in open categories at a single ceremony, two years in. The nominations are the interesting part: they mean the voters were already treating her as part of the general field rather than the newcomer bracket.
