Monica Roccaforte

Career

Born in Budapest, Roccaforte debuted in adult film in 1996 and worked extensively with Italian director Mario Salieri, also performing under the pseudonym "Sylvia." Her role as Daniela in Salieri's Il confessionale (1998) became controversial: the film's content, including a scene alleged to constitute desecration of a consecrated church, led to criminal charges against Salieri and his production company.

Signature: Il confessionale (1998) is one of the few Italian adult productions of this era to result in an actual criminal case against its director rather than just tabloid controversy.
