Minako Komukai

Career

Komukai began as a mainstream gravure model at fifteen and was named Fuji Television’s Visual Queen in 2001, working in television, film and anime through 2010. Her mainstream career was ended by methamphetamine arrests in 2009, 2011 and 2015. She debuted in AV in October 2011 with Alice Japan — a first release that reportedly sold over 200,000 copies — and won the AV Open Grand Prix in 2014.
