Lolo Ferrari
Career
Born Ève Valois and raised in La Baule, she began plastic surgery in 1990 at the encouragement of her husband and manager Éric Vigne, and by the mid-1990s had undergone twenty-two breast enlargements, a count the Guinness Book of Records carried. She took the stage name Lolo Ferrari afterwards, won a large-breasts contest at Cannes in 1995, and turned the resulting publicity into a regular slot on Channel 4’s Eurotrash, a handful of adult titles, two mainstream film roles and two singles. She spoke about the surgeries in interviews in terms that were unambiguously bleak: “All this stuff has been because I can’t stand life. But it hasn’t changed anything.”
Signature: The most extreme documented augmentation history in the industry — and the only one where the performer’s own published account of it is entirely negative.
