Kaitlyn Ashley
Career
Born Kelly Hoffman, Ashley worked for only four years, 1993 to 1997, before retiring — one of the shortest careers to produce a Performer of the Year title anywhere in this programme. Her AVN Female Performer of the Year win came in 1996, the year after Shame earned her a Best Supporting Actress award, and the AVN Hall of Fame inducted her in 2001.
Signature: A four-year career, and still enough to win the industry’s top annual title — one of the shortest spans to produce a Performer of the Year win we have found.
