Career
A former steelworker and blues musician, Leslie moved to California in the mid-1970s and became a top male star of the Golden Age after Talk Dirty to Me. In 1987 he directed Nightshift Nurses, one of the earliest performer-to-director transitions in the genre, and went on to direct more than 90 films including The Chameleon and Dog Walker. He is in both the AVN and XRCO halls of fame for the combined body of work.
Signature: One of the first stars to build a parallel directing career, establishing a route that Ferrara, Blue and Jordan all later took.
