Born Rhea Alexandra DeVlugt, of Guyanese and Russian descent, St. Claire became known in the adult-film industry through World’s Biggest Gang Bang 2 (1996), advertised at the time as a record-breaking scene that she later called "among the biggest cons ever pulled off in the porn business." She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2011, confirmed on the ceremony’s own published membership list.
