Cassandra Cruz
Career
Born Vanessa Cabanillas in Weehawken, New Jersey, Cassandra Cruz holds a Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design (2005) and worked three years as a professional dominatrix in New York before entering adult film at twenty-four in 2006. Her eight-year, roughly 340-credit career across Penthouse, Hustler, Wicked Pictures, Vivid and Evil Angel produced two AVN nominations — Best Scandalous Sex Scene in 2008 and Best Supporting Actress in 2009 — neither of which converted into a win. She retired in 2014 and appeared in the Season 7 premiere of the television series Sons of Anarchy. Her Spanish-language Wikipedia biography documents "ascendencia latina" without naming a specific country.
Signature: The clearest mainstream-television credit of anyone on this list without an award win to go with it: a documented appearance in Sons of Anarchy’s Season 7 premiere.
