Career
Born Cheryl Marie Murphy in Boise, Idaho, Powers began working in adult film in 1999 and, unusually for this category, did not stay inside it. Mainstream casting followed within two years — Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, S.W.A.T. and Tiptoes in 2003, Wristcutters: A Love Story in 2006 — alongside a long run of television appearances, including The Surreal Life in 2006, Cathouse, repeated guest slots on The Howard Stern Show and a recurring part on The League in 2013 and 2014. She later left adult production to run her own video-on-demand business, and from 2022 has worked mainly in live performance: a punk band she formed that year, the Micro Maidens burlesque revue and the MicroMania touring wrestling circuit.
