Abella Anderson

Career

Born Amisaday Quesada in Pinar del Río, Cuba, in 1988, Anderson emigrated to the United States at 18 and entered the adult industry in 2007, working initially for Bangbros-affiliated productions under several aliases before adopting the Abella Anderson stage name. She won NightMoves' Fan's Choice award for Best New Starlet in 2011. She announced her retirement from performing in mid-2012 via Twitter, citing the documentary After Porn Ends as an influence on her decision, and went on to found a Florida real-estate business, AQ Real Estate, serving South Florida's Cuban community. Cuban-language press has since covered her transition from performer to entrepreneur.
