Sunny Lane
Career
Lane trained as a competitive ice dancer under coach James Millns and was preparing for Olympic trials before bunion surgery ended that path; she turned to exotic dancing to support herself and was named Déjà Vu Showgirl of the Year in her first year on the circuit in 2004. Invited to the 2005 AVN Awards by fellow performer Serenity, she met a Playboy agent at an after-show party and began appearing in adult films that same year. She won Best POV Sex Scene at the 2008 AVN Awards and Best Anal Sex Scene in 2009, and was inducted into three separate industry Halls of Fame: NightMoves in 2014, AVN in 2020, and XRCO in 2021. Her own official biography, published on her site sunnylanelive.com and preserved by the Internet Archive, describes her as bisexual.
Signature: A triple Hall of Fame inductee — NightMoves, AVN, and XRCO — whose bisexuality is documented in her own words, on her own official biography, rather than inferred from a Wikipedia category tag.
