Monica Mattos
Career
Mattos began performing in Brazil in 2003 and extended into the American market from 2005, working chiefly through the Brasileirinhas group across roughly a decade and about 300 films. After an Adam Film World Best Latin Starlet win and an AVN Female Foreign Performer of the Year nomination in 2007, she won the category outright at the 2008 AVN Awards for her performance in Devassa, becoming the first Latin American performer to take the title. She left adult film around 2013 and moved into independent horror and genre pictures, including Zombeach (2011) and Astaroth, Female Demon (2018).

Sources and verification2 sources
- Exact birth date; secondary sources give only a birth year of 1983
- Total credit count of ~300 is a Wikipedia-reported approximation, not an itemized filmography
- The 2008 AVN Female Foreign Performer of the Year win is corroborated by the award's own winners-list page as well as her biography, but both are Wikipedia. AVN's own results archive for the 25th AVN Awards was not retrieved directly, so this is second-publisher corroboration rather than a primary source.
