Career
Born in Switzerland in 1983, of Slovak and Spanish descent, Moiré holds a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Bern (2011) and works primarily as a performance and conceptual artist, best known for nude public performances including PlopEgg No. 1 (2014) and an appearance at Art Basel the same year, plus the interactive installation Mirror Box (2016), which led to her arrest during a London showing. She was also arrested in Paris in 2015 for a nude photograph taken at the Eiffel Tower. Her own English Wikipedia article describes her in its opening sentence as "a Swiss pornographic performer and conceptual artist," noting that she produces and sells self-described "uncensored" video content directly through her own website, separate from her gallery and public performance work. She now lives in Düsseldorf, Germany.
