Isiah Maxwell
Career
Maxwell's AVN Male Performer of the Year win at the 41st AVN Awards in 2024 is independently confirmed against the award's own Wikipedia winners list, and it ends a specific, checkable gap: Lexington Steele's 2003 win was the previous time a Black performer took the category, meaning twenty consecutive ceremonies passed with no Black winner before Maxwell's. He also holds AVN wins in group and gangbang scene categories across 2022, 2023 and 2025, sourced via Wikidata and not yet individually cross-checked against each ceremony's own page the way the headline win has been.
Signature: The most recent, and by a twenty-one-year gap the second, Black winner of AVN's top annual male award — the single most direct piece of evidence this article's pillar re-weighting rests on.
