Career
Halston debuted in 2001 at twenty-seven, after mainstream modelling work, and performed for sixteen years before retiring in 2017. She is one of the few performers in the category with a documented multi-child family who has discussed the demands of the job as a parent directly, in a named publication, rather than leaving the subject to inference.
Signature: In the same 2024 Vice feature, she described parenthood in the job in blunt terms — rewarding and, in her own words, capable of taking a parent "to the brink" on a hard week.
